A warm entertaining read

This book is so much more than the tale of a 50-something divorcee dipping her toe in the dating waters again. Although it is about that too, it's also a look across the generations and how lives impact on others around them. I suspect the author's work as a psychotherapist has helped her develop the insights she shows here.
The dialogue is sparkling and often witty, and there's a lot of amusement to be had along with the more poignant moments. While I didn't wholly identity with the principal character Dr Annie Templeton, I enjoyed the interweaving of the different parts of her life: work, family, friends, dating and of course her vile ex-husband. The ending was satisfying and I must admit, though I'd hoped for it, I hadn't seen it coming.
