Hi, just letting people know that the cheapest and best place I've found for buying a new hard drive is ebay. I've just received my 120GB hard drive through the post and it only set me back £30 including p&p. :-)

Does the UK PAL PS3 play any region DVDs? (Region 0,1 etc)

and

What HDMI cable is needed for my Samsung HDTV?

I know nothing about the PS3 so would much appreciate it if anyone can help me out.

Can save your games on your 500GB?

What happens? does your PS3 give you an option on where you want to save your games?

A. Faraday says:
ive been after a ps3 for ages and was thinking of hanging onto see if a 80gb was released over here, now i think im just gonna get a 40gb, but worried about the lack of memory, is it easy to upgrade the hard drive? or can you just simply add an external drive to it and save on there?

R. Masters says:
A. Faraday-hold that thought right there! The 80GB model is coming to Britain in August I think! It's not the same as the US 80GB in that it doesn't have backwards compatibility, but it's replacing the 40GB model at the same price when it comes out, so no need to splash out extra cash for more storage!!
