First things first - If you're looking to put RGB fans in your system and you have no other RGB, then these will do the job. They light up nicely and the controller has plenty of settings to play with. You can't set the fans to a colour of your choice though, so if you want 'hot pink' for example, then the controller's not going to give you that. You can only set them to the controllers pre-defined colours if you have no other way of setting the RGB. In regards to airflow they push some air (not a great amount) so a normal user should see normal temperatures. They are fairly quiet though and can really only be heard above 1200rpm. The fans are all 4-pin and the controller can sync with your motherboard headers (so that you can control the speeds from your motherboard software). They're fine and they're cheap.
OK, onto the problems.
1) The fans don't push a lot of air. The blades are shorter than most other 120mm fan blades (to make space of the lights around the edge of the fan), which means that their cooling potential is weaker. I've rarely felt weaker airflow. They just about get the job done. When it comes to pushing air though a rad the fans barely do the job, the back-draft is significantly more than what comes out of the other side of the rad (suggesting they're not powerful/designed to get air through the radiator).
2) The motherboard sync is rubbish. You can connect the controller to a 5V motherboard ARGB header and then press the controller's reset switch for 3 seconds which hands off control to the motherboard (to set the lighting from your software). However, and this is the big kicker, every time you turn off your PC, you'll need to press that button for 3 seconds again when you turn it back on. The controller 'forgets' that you handed control to the motherboard and grabs back control of the lights. Trust me, you'll soon get sick of pressing that button for 3 seconds.
So, if you're a non-enthusiast who just wants to see some lights on your fans, and you aren't too fussed about having complete control over your lighting, and you aren't too fussed about your temperatures, then you'll be OK with this fan set and controller. Everyone else will probably be wondering if they wasted their money.
