Product Description

From the Back Cover

"Sensitive without excessive sentimentality, this gem of a book is a deft and thoughtful exploration of trauma and its overcoming. Keenly observed, compelling and deeply moving, we're offered a view of London life that is seldom seen."

Paul Gilroy - Author of `There Ain't No Black In The Union Jack', `The Black Atlantic', `After Empire' and many others

About the Author

Olumide Popoola is a London-based Nigerian-German writer and poet, concerned with the lyrical and critical investigation into the 'in-between' of culture, language and public space.

Format: Paperback
Well written and intricately told, this short book encapsulates a London we very rarely see -- an intimate world where strangers come together to keep their pasts alive and move out of them at the same time.
