I am an ardent fan of the CoD series although lately I have moved away from them to BF2 as I had played them to death (no pun intended), especially Multiplayer.

My worry is that this will end up being another BF2 and not offer the CoD fans something really new. Is there anybody out there that has seen this game 'in the flesh' who can give us a definitive view?

Apropos of nothing in particular; CoD4 & BF2, whilst differing wildly, are both sublime PC experiences... =]
