From the manufacturer
Nick and Louise started teapigs in November 2006 with one mission - to get the nation drinking real tea again. We make a big thing about using quality real tea. By quality real tea, we mean whole leaf tea, whole leaf herbs and whole flowers. Not the dusty stuff you'll find in regular paper teabags. It's all about the flavour. The whole leaves, herbs and flowers in our tea temples have been handled gently and with love, to maintain every drop of that precious flavour.
Teas worthy of worship deserve their own temple. Our teas come in our special tea "temple" - a biodegradable mesh bag that gives the whole leaves lots of room to infuse. Looks pretty too. Loose tea without the fuss. Yippee!
We're committed to giving back to communities that bring us our tea. Most of the tea for our signature everyday brew comes from Gisenyi in Rwanda and we work with the Point Foundation - who are based there - to support orphans and vulnerable young people in the area. We make a donation to the Point Foundation with every pack of everyday brew we sell. We also match donations our customers make on our website and run regular fundraising efforts.

Teapigs are doing great job with their selection of very good teas at quite competitive price (the money you pay for this box of 50 tea bags is worth paying!). I highly recommend the whole selection of Teapigs.
Some bags are spilt and tea is not good for the price.
Assuming from the leaves that he tea is at best a BOP but lacks the flavour that one would expect from this - far better loose leaf is available at a similar price. Will not be buying again.
Update. Tastes better if brewed at 94 degrees
