Robert Lee Henry

About the author

Robert Lee Henry is an Australian author who enjoyed a long career as a geologist working in mineral exploration. In the course of this work, he wrote hundreds of company reports and co-authored several scientific papers. Exploration has always been boom and bust, and he took up fiction writing as a hobby for the quiet times in the early 2000s. In 2006, his short story, ‘Carved in Marble’, received a Commended award in the Open Short Story category of the Bauhinia Literary Awards. In 2017, Robert self-published on Amazon a large science fiction novel in the space opera/military science fiction genre titled The Return of the Grey, which was well received by many readers. The High Woods Hunter is the first novel in Robert Lee Henry’s two-part fantasy series, The King’s Lands. The second book, The Unnatural Hand, is also available now on Amazon. Robert lives in North Queensland, Australia, and spends his time writing, carving marble, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren, usually in reverse order.
