Just unpacked this stool to find it in childrens pink with white spots! Looks absolutely awful and as someone else mentioned it looks like a childrens toy - although I wouldn't put this anywhere near children. Others have mentioned instructions but this came with none (not that you should need them ) and the sticker on the side is of a different stool altogether!

Attempting to stand on this was a frightening experience. I weigh 90 Kg and the top bent downwards quite severely. There are plastic spurs under the seat which appear as though they should lock into reciprocal slots but they don't and the whole things makes an awful noise as these snap in and out again as weight is applied and removed. I have yet to put my full weight on it but may attempt this as it will cost to much to return and it may as well go in the bin in pieces.

Dangerous in my opinion and something to avoid.

The random colour we got was light blue with white polka dots- fine as we weren't fussy, but surprising since none of the pictured stools were blue, and none of them had polka dots on.

This stool was so easy to use that we could safely give it to our three-year-old. She can fold it up, walk around with it (it's not too heavy), set it out again (safely, without trapping her fingers), use the bottom rung as a step, step onto it, stand on it, and help us with the cooking (if 'help' is the right word), all without any assistance from us- so she's very pleased with it, and it's nicely empowering for her.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that after a few weeks, the plastic of the handle cracked. It's quite a sturdily built thing, so we're not quite sure how it could've happened- our daughter wouldn't have been strong enough- so it was a bit of a surprise. However a liberal application of superglue and a bit of waiting later, it's now good-as-new and getting daily use again.

I bought this item, and felt at the time of receiving it that the quality of plasticis quite poor. However, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and kept it. Only a few months later, I was standing on it one day, as normal, and a piece of the leg broke off. I sent the company an email with photographs, and they have refused to refund or replace the item, even though it is well within the 1 year warranty. So, the message is clear - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Great stool that folds away neatly and erects in seconds. Was a little dubious at first as you would expect the sides to click into place, but they don't, and sit at a slight angle to the step, remaining perfectly secure. Have used this a dozen times now and it's great!

I weigh 90kg and used the item to sit on for 20 minutes each evening when I was giving my son bath. the item broke after a couple of weeks. Its cheap I get it but don't buy if you are looking for something sturdy.

This is a light stepstool. I need to regularly use it to get things in and out from my tall cupboards. It folds flat. It is sturdy despite my initial reservations. And it is just a bit taller than your average stool so perfect for the really high shelves.

Received this item this morning....straightaway there's a problem...Amazon item description rated up to 150kg weight...however, the label on the item states max weight of 100kg... disappointed!!!... seems quite sturdy although not sure I would risk stepping on it, despite weighing a mere 90kg....
As for durability, the jury is out!
Will report back in time, when it's been tested....

Finding that climbing on chairs is now a bit more difficult, I needed a sturdy, lightweight, portable stool and this fits the bill. You need to make sure that it is locked into place before standing on it, as I see some people complain that it collapses, but if you do that there seems to be no problem. How? Simply push the middle of the seat after opening. Easy. It is a little tall for me, being a short shanks, but I have a smaller stool that I stand on first before getting on this one. Great.

It is the perfect height for me to be able to reach to the top section of my kitchen wall units.

Quite good. Love how it has a seamless folding design with a dedicated handle to hold with, when folded. Looks small and hard to believe it can withstand a person weighing around 80-90 kgs but it can.
