If you can set a digital watch, you don't require instructions for this, I had it up and running within minutes of receiving it.
« I have a weather station and the readings are about the same.
« Set up in no time at all
« Fast delivery. Wow
« C% and F% for those who want it in real money ;)
« Robust and display reasonably well laid out
« Only had it for a few hours so will update if I hit snags

« Forget the alarm and hourly chime, you would have to be a bat to hear it, who needs it though?

I bought this to make sure I wasn't using my dehumidifier to the extreme, as it checks out with the weather station I am more than happy to recommend it.
4 stars, give it 5 and it will go up in price.
Oh, I have just noticed the photo, it must have been taken in a sauna. 45 to 55% is the ideal range. My dehumidifier is factory set to switch off between 50 & 55% (Ebac uk)

I bought another one of these as my mum had acquired the first one; well actually we gave it to her expecting to reorder when we got home. The price had shot up but now it is, at the time of writing, back to a sensible price I bought it, now the crunch.
The design has changed; reset and F to C are under the stand, not very convenient.
The time/date display toggles every 5 seconds (most irritating).
Certainly the sound is way louder on this one but I don't use it, just thought I would keep you informed.

If you are old enough, you will remember the instructions which used to come with Japanese products - seemingly written by those who had learned all their English from a second-rate dictionary and then never spoken to a native English speaker. Well, the instructions for this product are just like that. Written in 4 or 5-point type to make it hard to read, the sentence construction is rubbish; the word choice is weird, e.g. "twinkles" (sic - twice) when they mean flashes and the spelling e.g."trun" (twice) when they mean turn; no spell check so Plas for Please and ro for to. The description about setting up what should be a relatively simple but they have made it very difficult. Forget the "Operation" instructions and just use you own common sense: it will be much better than their instructions.
I have been able to check only the temperature accuracy. I have done this by comparing it with two conventional alcohol thermometers and one electric one. The claim is that the reading is accurate to ± 1 ℃ That is true as it routinely reads one degree over the actual temperature. If this is good enough for you, and you are able to set it up without reference to the gobbledygook of the "Operations manual" then this is a cheap option.

Great value for money. We have it in the lounge room and it's also very handy to have the time showing clearly. This is the only negative though - the time is wrong. Slowly over weeks and months the clock reads fast. For example after 3-4 months it reads 10 minutes fast. Better than slow I guess!!

This is good digital thermaometer and humidity meter. I found temperature is acurate but the humidity is sometime off the actuall percentage as I have a weather station to compare with.
Instructions are not very helpful but I would say its very easy to setup without the instructions anway.
You have choice to setup C or F.
Its not backlit but easy to read in light.

This device is OK. I use it with school children to measure humidity differences and it takes a few minutes to adjust to a new area but will show differences well. However I don't believe that it is very accurate. It is always above what other devices read, e.g 3-4 degrees centigrade higher or 5-10% higher humidity. So buy it if you just want something cheap to keep an eye on when humidity goes up or down but don't expect it to be entirely spot on.
My instructions were in English.

Had this for about 2 weeks - provides min and max as a toggle display for humidity and temp. Big display so easy to read from 10m !! works well, interesting to see the humidity levels, looks to have somesort of capapacity for outsite sensor but unsure about this hence the 4 star - will purchase a second unit for the house :)

a great device with very clear lcd display. I got three of these for my loung where i brew beer and need to keep an eye on the temp.
It has a little stand at the back or can be wall mounted.
Very easy to set up.
Humidity and clock is a plus too.

Nice temperature reader dose what its suppose to clear display but could be brighter, rear stand works well but not very strong as mine has broken already, It has a pinhole slot on the back if you wish to hang it up on the wall.

Would have given 5 if it wasn't for the back stand being a bit flimsy.
