When playing monopoly, the most tedious part was always counting out all the different notes for each player at the start of the game - it took forever! Well that is now a thing of the past. Each player has a Credit/Debit card and the banker operates an easy to use keypad to add/remove/transfer money between players. This means you can open the box and be playing within 2 minutes. The other benefit of this system is that it makes it much harder for people to cheat. I would have given this game 5 stars but I deducted 1 star because they've increased the prices of everything (although this may have happened in other recent monopoly games, I hadn't played for about 20 years before getting this set) which I think spoils it a little bit.

Other things worth noting is that only 4 people can play this version (you only get 4 bank cards) and the bank machine does need 2 AAA batteries.

Love it! Once you have had 3 or 4 goes it does make things quicker.

On the first go I was lucky enough to own boardwalk and park place (this is the yank version) with 3 houses. (Once I bought the hotels everyone quit. As is usually the case with monopoly 😂)

The sound from the card machine when 14mil exchanges hands is music to the ears and no counting time either.

Rubbish lieces. No top hat. Only 4 plastic counters (who plays more than 4 people in monopoly but seriously the classic has metal counters)

Even though I have only played once I enjoyed the difference with the electronic banking macbine. Even easier to cheat for those who can t be trusted but supervise their actions and you will be fine.

Good fun.

Crushed the opponents. When I upgraded to hotels from 3 houses on boardwalk and park place as well as all of the reds it cost me 25.5mil

Handset only accepts funds up to 20mil às that's the highest figure payable on the board.

I still had 12.7mil in the bank after that.

Mathematically I have this game worked out but Mayfair and park lane were unusually lucrative in game one.

Ordered this for my son for xmas and payed the extra as 6 cards would mean the whole family could play. Disappointed when received and had the older 4 card edition :( . Now one parcel to return for refund and no option to replace and to wait and see if can get elsewhere

The electronic version makes play so much simpler - no more messing around with change and hundreds of bits of losable paper. Great to know your current amount at any time so you know if you can afford the rent!

The first game with my husband (a known cheater of the game) was fantastic and fun. Everything was easy to work out when mortgaging (which he had to do... a lot) and I loved watching the amount rise on the screen!

I really like this game because it uses cards instead of money, money gets crumpled up so a card is easier or children to handle. As we don't have to count money it makes it easier to play the game with my younger siblings. I really like monopoly and this is a nice version, we also have original monopoly and the card game. by Maya age 9.
