As I'm now drawing towards my twilight years I have succumbed to the needs of comfy footwear around the house but God help me if I ever end up fitting myself out with a pair of 'Clive Dunns'.
Fortunately, along came the TH Drew 1B which, on first appearance, looked both stylish and comfortable, and you'd think "well, it is TH and it does cost £45.00 so it's got to be reasonable, right ?".
Couldn't be farther from the truth. Imagine you task your blind, arthritically crippled Grandmother with the task of making you a pair of slippers for xmas... go with Granny's option. I can only imagine these are sourced from Matalan or Peacocks, or some other bin end retailer, then re- badged and another £44.50 slapped on the price tag.
NIce, soft and comfy around the upper & outer edges but zero comfort on the soles. A small elasticated drawstring at the front
attempts to pull the slipper snugly around your foot.....lasts approx one night before detaching itself.
Sorry but I'd rather run barefoot until I can find an alternative.
On the bright side, Amazon return & refund policy for this item was excellent.
