We didn't quite realise that this isn't a 'Raleigh' product as such when we ordered and felt the title was a bit misleading. The company 'Activ ' is a derivitive of Raleigh. That said it was great quality and value for money. Went together perfectly well and after a bit of tinkering got everything running smoothly. Would reccommend this product.
Purchased from Amazon Warehouse as an open box item. All the parts were included, some assembly was required as you'd expect. However, an alloy framed, front suspension, 21-speed men's MTB, delivered for under £100, you can't go wrong at that price! Probably the cheapest 'new' spec MTB in the UK.
Initially this bike was a great buy for the cost, however 6 months on and the crank was loose and moved despite attempts at tightening it, the parts are not good quality, most have now rusted including the brake cables. The bike is kept outside but under a cover. A mountain bike should be able take a bit of hard work, this one however barley coped with work commute every day.
I have a Trek bike which was more expensive that get lots of abuse and less cared for that is still in working order many years on.
You get what you pay for and a cheap bike it false economy.
