i don't unuderstand how the disney company can keep walts first classic off the shop shelves, depriving young children of seeing a true hand drawn cartoon, and not a cgi crap film his company are releasing now. it's no wonder the pirate sector is booming if the public are forced to pay 40+ for an original.

I agree - they do this because they actually make more money. Strange sounding isn't it? But when they release the original film, un-edited, on DVD and video every 5/6 years, this means they go up in value, and people pay over the odds. Just search for Beauty and the Beast... over £70!

Your best bet? Go to car boot sales! I pick them up for about 50p - got most of the classics on video now for under a fiver!
