This is a cracking stove, we bought it for a replacement of a cast iron one and we can't stand the heat! Very controllable via the air inlet on the bottom and the air wash on the top. Delivery was very good as well ,it arrived with in a couple of days well before estimated date. Very happy
Stove looks very well made . Heta approved fitter said looks like a well made stove too. I Had it burning tonight for first time . Stove is still curing so bit of a smell but everything seems A ok . Will update after a month of use . OH BY THE WAY I USED A 5" LINER . BUT YOUR SUPPOSE TO USE 6INCH LINER FOR ANY1 THAT IS NOT SURE. 5inch works fine but requires more attention and upkeep of cleaning. And some fitters will not fot a 5inch liner. 1 thing I don't under stand is it says multi fuel yet says do not burn coal ? Oh and by the way this is a 6.8kw stove not 6.5kw
I bought one of these and I am very, very impressed with it. My room is 20foot long and 13foot wide and we have to let the fire die down because it gets too hot. The baffle plate inside is meant to be angled upwards from the back, where it rests on the fire brick up to above the top of the door. There are two pins sticking out on the inside, sides of the fire where the baffle plate rests on. This makes the fire box bigger. 5 or 6 small lumps of coal and a bit of wood and the fire will last for a good few hours, if the vents are closed down and the bottom door vent is closed and the brass knob screwed tight to screw down the air flow. Just open the bottm door for a minute and the fire comes back to life ... full review
"fantastic but had to buy a guard thing as coal ..."
fantastic but had to buy a guard thing as coal or logs would fall out if I opened the door, think the guard thing was called a fret, dead cheap to buy but had to cut to fit, got ours from Charles store for £2.99 , now everything great .
