"A very useful product." - by Imustbedreamin
I bought this to use in my bathroom and it's fantastic. We have it on it's lowest setting during the night and it provides just enough light for those midnight trips to the loo, without waking you up.

Very easy to set up and also to adjust the settings if need be.

One flaw is it doesnt seem to remember scenes so if you have a scene on and the light goes of (lay motionless in the bath) it comes back on in a white setting.

Slightly annoying but you can work around it.

"Excellent for Controlling Devices In An Outdoor Office" - by Craig
Best piece of kit I've bought since buying an Echo dot. My office is in a log cabin at the end of an 80m garden. With the Harmony hub in there I can now talk to Alexa in my house and say "Alexa Get Ready For Work". This then fires off a routine 1.) Turns on the air conditioner to heat the room. 2.) Turns on an under desk heater just so until the air con is warm enough and 3.) turns on a tv and surround sound, setting their inputs and putting BBC News HD on.... All of that from just saying "Alexa, Get Ready For Work".

Amazing stuff.

That said though, it's not perfect. The Harmony app is slow and I had a bit of trouble connecting to it. Also, the hub needed to learn my air con remote controls ... and then had trouble doing so. I think this ... full review

"Tricky to set up or maintain but still very useful" - by Jack Percival (London, UK)
It's been a little while since I tried the last iteration of SmartThings, so on getting this new hub I was intrigued to see how things had moved on. These act as the centre of your setup, so are a critical part but useless alone so I hooked up my old sensors and hue light bulbs to give them a try.

On the migration first and no assistance is offered here, you have to disconnect everything individually from the old hub before adding it back to this one. This is somewhat a painful process of pressing a button at the right time then waiting, though gives you the power of the system - to be able to connect to a range of different things. The range has expanded a lot since I last tried one of these which was good to see as it'll definitely increase its usefulness.

In terms of other ... full review

"Excellent after first faulty unit" - by Mark Turner (UK)
This item gets some very poor reviews but I was keen on the technology so I though I would give it a go. I was very frustrated, it was easy to install but I could not get it to work, unlock or even beep at me, and I followed the instructions exactly. After several hours and help from the customer services I was ready to give up. However, the customer services were excellent, they decided I must have a faulty unit and so posted me a replacement. Two days later and received my new lock and installed it. It worked first time and is excellent. I love it and would highly recommend this product despite my initial problems.

"Adds extra functionality to my Yale Conexis L1 door lock" - by FRAN ARMITAGE
Set up using the instructions that came with the door lock. Easy to pair with my Samsung Smarthome hub and works with Alexa too. Allows you to remotely unlock/lock the door using the smartthings app. Alexa can also check the status of whether the door is locked and can lock it if asked. Note for security reasons, Alexa is unable to remotely unlock the lock

"Good value for echo users" - by Philip W.
Like most reviews have said these are slow to switch off and on but not sure that is a major issue as it's normally within 30 seconds.
I have configured my Amazon echo to work with these in the UK, it takes a bit of extra work to do this but when your saving 20 quid a socket well worth it.
Overall happy with the product and would recommend

"I didn't read the dimensions correctly, you need a ..." - by sashametcalfe
Great replacement.
I didn't read the dimensions correctly, you need a deep backbox for this, 35mm. This is sold as a 1-way switch but CAN be used as a 2-way IF at the other end you use a 2-way SLAVE switch such as the varilight v-pro slave.

"Harmony Elite Remote Exceeded my Expectations" - by bjohnk
For the past year or so, I have been using a Logitech Harmony Touch Remote, to control my Home Cinema Hi-Fi System. Before that I was using the Harmony 700. I really do like the features and build quality of these Remotes and wrote an Amazon Review mainly about the Pros and Cons of the Harmony Touch. I now quite like the idea of Home Controlled Devices (Lights, Blinds etc.) as well as the control of my Audio Visual Equipment. The Harmony Elite seemed an obvious choice as an upgrade from my Harmony Touch (which is still working Fine). Despite having read quite a few Amazon Reviews, leaving me with somewhat mixed feelings, I decided to throw caution to the wind and purchased the Harmony Elite. The cost is still pretty high but a considerable saving over its normal selling price.

To me, the combination of a Remote Control, a HUB ... full review

"Good styling, can be permanently powered" - by Dave (uk)
Connects to the Samsung SmartThings and is correctly recognised as Aeon Multisensor 6. Also when you look at the properties screen in the App it tells you Humidity, Lux, UV index and of course the battery level. I have mine powered by the supplied usb cable as I haven't bought the CR123 batteries yet. I paid £44 for the sensor and it was shipped from Germany within a few days. The price has now gone up to £62? The cheaper Samsung PIR sensor is just as good, but doesn't have the additional data reports. Also the button it describes is actually part of the casing. You depress the corner for the button to make.

"Excellent Security System" - by John R
Had the Fortress Security System since June this year, found it easy to install and it works extremely well. Had an issue with a crackling on the phone line and they sent me a new mains adapter that fixed the problem, this came from America free of charge, very caring company, Thank you.
