"Edible wild greenery" - by peggydog
This book was bought as a Christmas gift for my weed-eating adult son, in the hope that he will not poison himself! My knowledge of the subject is quite extensive, but nevertheless, there was so much in this book that I wanted to keep it for myself. It is beautifully illustrated and clearly written. A fine and informative book.

"Thoroughly recommended!" - by jules cooper
An amazing book, that is a pure pleasure to read. As a wild plant enthusiast and plant walker myself, it gave me the answers to many of my own questions and thoughts about the intellegences of these wonderful and remarkable wild plants. Thoroughly recommended...Jules.

"Not a reference work" - by P. K. Wike (Yorkshire, England)
This is an entertaining read, a ramble through the weeds found on disused areas aground our towns. I was expecting a reference of the weeds origins and spread, the information is in here, but not in any order. As with his other books, its still a pleasure to read, as well as being informative.

"HELPFUL" - by Al-Khemet Book Club
This was a luscious and delightful read. I had no idea weed could be used in cooking, well, maybe I did, but who would have had the slightest idea that people actually practiced it??? I sure didn't!

It seems helpful and safe, I heard weed tea was ok, light in how it should be boiled though as its very strong, but again, weed in cooking is something we might see more of in this age.

This book is great for those that need weed for medical use but just don’t like to smoke it. Caujuan gave you just enough recipes to have you well on your way and able to cook with weed whether it be for breakfast, lunch dinner or dessert.

"Nutritious foraging fun" - by Jenny Davies (UK)
Beautiful looking book, love the cover.

It's wonderful to find that some of my favourite weeds are edible. I feel an urge to plant ground elder in my garden - somebody hold me back!

The things I most love about it are the nutrition tables scattered throughout the book, showing what percentage of vitamins and minerals are present in certain weeds and how this differs with garden vegetables. Turns out weeds generally contain many more vitamins, minerals and protein than tame vegetables.

Have to confess I have not specifically tried any of the recipes yet, though definitely intend to, a lot of them seem to need heaps of various different weeds, some of which don't occur in my garden (so far haven't felt like foraging further afield). But I have felt empowered to add certain weeds to my own cooking - stews, soups, curries, omlettes, salads etc.

I do wish she could have tried ... full review

"A Book to Enjoy" - by Jean P
I confess I'm not (and probably never will be) a forager, but this book at least makes me wish I were! It's a great book from a really interesting lady. She manages to seamlessly weave together the story of her personal journey with her undoubted wealth of knowledge about foraging in New York. A delight to read and one that I will undoubtably come back to again and again.
