"Great device" - by Gman
Arrived on time and so easy to set up. Switch on, open Bluetooth on the iPhone and pair it. It’s got a good range and taking photos is as easy as pressing the button on the remote. It’s going to make taking photos with my digiscope so easy.

"Great mini camera mount" - by Dave (UK)
Great arm. Once you tinker a bit it becomes obvious how it works. I bought it to mount a baby monitor in various positions on the cot, moses basket, rocker etc. The clamp makes it versatile. Only gripe (prob my fault) is the size quoted is combined length of the arms-not each so little shorter than expected. I'd buy again though!

"Solid feeling and easy to use" - by Mark F
Solid feeling and easy to use. Just opened the package and attached to my tripod, no fuss. Phone fitted straight in and it's quick and easy to set it up for use - If I have one reservation it's about the plastic fitting on the rear, (the knurled knob) where the mount can be changed from vertical to horizontal... Time will tell how durable it is when adjusting from flat to upright but I guess most people using this will set it up for one aspect and then probably leave it. Otherwise, can't complain for the price - great buy!

Excellent quality and fits my GoPro cameras and accessories perfectly. The finish on the mounts is very good with no rough edges or burrs. The tripod screws are good quality and inserted well into the mounts.

"good service, right product" - by S. K.
This is my second purchase of the same product from the same company. The service is as good as the last time. Prompt delivery.
I would recommend the supplier. The product does what I need; I bought it as a replacement base for the original base I lost for the VCT-D680RM Sony tripod. Sony does not supply replacement base mounts for its tripod. This Hama brand camera/camcorder base mount works with the Sony tripod I have. The Sony tripod is an expensive one; it would have been a shame not being able to use it just because a cheap base mount is lost. Now I use the second purchase of the base mount for my digital camera. This saves time as there is no need to unscrew and remount the base piece from the camcorder to the camera; each one has its own base mount now.

"There is nothing like it, got for it" - by Deepak
Very good build quality. Best thing about this holder is it does not use a spring mechanism which tends to loosen after few months of usage. This holder uses screw mechanism and you can be sure that your phone/camera is going to stay in their snug. Even the rotation mechanism for taking portrait/landscape picture is operated by a screw.

I felt the price could have been a little cheaper, 5 maybe.

"Nice legs, shame about the head" - by Brian Chichester (West Sussex)
There is a market for a compact, portable tripod weighing about 1 kg, 30 cm collapsed length and extending to 120-130 cm high. The buyers are most likely serious photographers using lightweight mirrorless cameras. The class leading product is the Sirui T-025X, which ticks all the boxes and weighs an astonishing 0.8 kg. The drawback is that it currently costs £180. If you can afford that, stop reading now and go and buy it.
For those like myself who are seeking a cheaper way to tripod nirvana, I have some good news: this Amazon tripod could be – just could be – a credible competitor to the Sirui, but only if you can compromise a little. The price is less than a third of the Sirui, the carbon fibre legs are light and rigid and the leg locks seem to be positive and reliable, what more could you ask? Well actually ... full review

"Working great on an iPhone 6s + case" - by Daniel Quintero
I was not aware that the "grappling thing" had two studs placed in it. This allows more versatility for many different positions. Also, the ball joint really helps to get just the precise angle. Good item for a good price.

"Brilliant" - by Steve
Well made and flexible, I have tried similar products but they didn't work as well. Up to the task of supporting a decent size camera ( I used it with my Panasonic FZ82 bridge camera and Canon M3 CSC ) With the 28mm macro lens on the Canon this little tripod really comes into it's own as a really flexible support giving me the crazy angles I need to take the shot without the camera falling over. The legs are covered in a rubberised coating so plonking your camera down in wet grass, sand or other similar surface s isn't a problem. Really pleased with this purchase.

"... the DJI Osmo arrived well packaged and is surprisingly sturdy for something of this price" - by Peter Phillips
This stick / monopod for the DJI Osmo arrived well packaged and is surprisingly sturdy for something of this price. The tripod base is wide enough to make it stable and screws off so that the stick can be used as a selfie stick if required. The srew holding the ball head is not the tightest so I suspect it would not hold anything much heavier than the Osmo. Overall, very impressed.

"Very pleased" - by Ali
Bought this to replace the quick release plate on a Ranger tripod that had got lost. It’s more or less exactly the same as the missing piece. Fits the tripod perfectly, is nice and robust and holds the camera firmly. Will probably buy another as a spare!
