"He will be much more advanced than others in his class thanks to this making it fun and easy to understand"
Really helping my 6 year old understand his times tables. He will be much more advanced than others in his class thanks to this making it fun and easy to understand. I have to watch him with the pen though as I am not sure if its washable!!
"Fun and helps kid memorise the times tables fast."
The game was great, my 7 year old loved it, he now knows all the times tables in the pack by sight, he doesnt have to work it out, he just knows it, and that was after one evening of playing snap and pairs.
The only down side is there is only a few times tables in the pack. Maybe another pack with the more of the 6,7,8, 9 times tables for example there was no 8× 9 or 7x 8 etc.
This is a great way learn times tables, my kids love it. Come with a bag to store all the bricks when not in use, although we haven't had a use for that as it's easier to keep them set up. The little cubes are quite small making them fiddly to get out, but my kids have no problems with that 😊
"Great way to help learn times tables as it's so ..."
Great way to help learn times tables as it's so interactive. There is a good you tube video that explains how to play the game. (It's a long video and a bit boring so don't watch it with the kids. Having said that it's good for us grown ups really explains how to us it)
"A really fun way to teach multiplication"
I am a private tutor and often work with primary school kids on numeracy. I've only had these cards for a couple of weeks but I've used them loads with students. They are a great way to help students become comfortable with multiplication and they make learning times tables really fun. There are many different games that you can use these cards for it which makes it very difficult for kids to get bored of using them. I certainly recommend them to tutors, teachers and parents who want to enjoy helping children with their maths.
"The best method we've found for Times Tables so far!"
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. My 8 year old daughter is struggling with her times tables. We can't work out if she just gives up easily or is genuinely struggling. We've tried the songs and the books and a chart taped on the toilet wall. Very reluctant and nothing sticks. This however, seems to be working. She doesn't look forward to doing it but doesn't rail against it. I've tried it and it's very quick to get your head around. There is a youtube clip which lasts all of two minutes which I suggest you look at. I tried to post it here but posts with links get rejected. I would recommend supervising them until or unless you're sure they're going to do it properly. She's tried to cut corners a bit and do it a little differently, but the way ... full review
I bought this game to help a slow learner with her tables. She loves it! The flexibility in the answers is only just becoming apparant to her, which is great for me as a teacher: it helps me to monitor her understanding.
