"Short and sweet" - by lucas
"The Code" is excellent, intelligent TV.

What I liked about it:

The story is a very good political thriller and it builds up slowly. It takes a while until you can get all pieces in place. It has a clear influence of Scandinavian series, "Breaking Bad" and maybe "Homeland" as well.

It has only six episodes with approximately one hour each. I think this is very good because series with ten or twelve episodes tend to stretch the story just for the sake of the continuation, lowering the quality of the story. There are no absurd contradictions in the story , contraditicions that were so usual in the first season of "The Killing", for example.

Acting is really good and the two main actors, who play two brothers, couldn't be better. One is a journalist and the other one is ... full review

"Almost Too Hot to Handle Cyber Thriller" - by Stephanie De Pue (Wilmington, NC USA)
The Code, Season 2. This release of the Australian television series, an award-winning timely conspiracy thriller/political crime drama, brings us all six episodes of the second season. It opens as two Australian surfers are murdered by militia in West Papua, New Guinea. Shortly thereafter, mere months after they’d exposed corrupt officials in the Australian government, created scandal; two brothers, internet journalist Ned Banks (Dan Spielman) and his cyber hacker sibling Jesse (Ashley Zukerman) are called into government offices. They are threatened by these same authorities with extradition to the United States on serious criminal charges unless they agree to help with the case. A hard-to-crack hot potato with political implications. The authorities can’t crack it; Jesse --although short on social skills, perhaps Asperger’s/autistic?--has some serious hacking skills. So, with the aid of Jesse’s girlfriend Hani (Adele Perovic), the brothers begin the search for ... full review

"The Code" - by Ruthie T
~~ I was offered a copy to read, and am happy to also review~~

I am a big sports romance fan, and this is a great start to a new series. There is something about a hockey team and the fact that it can be changed so quickly, due to trades etc., that makes it really important that the characters work straight away - and Ms Scott has definitely given us a team of players worthy of our attention. Whilst the story concentrates mainly on two, there are plenty more waiting in the wings for future installments.

This is a story which works well, because tying the successes of the game to the emotional feelings of Ryan, gives us a quick barometer as to how things are progressing. Watching him avoid situations which will cause him to want to breach the code, remind us of what an honourable ... full review

"AMAZING!" - by Mandy10
This series is so good. As a scientist I thought I'd be interested by it but I was literally fascinated! Although few parts are explained by maths as 'too good to be true' most of it is truelly astonishing! Look out for the birds!

"Entertaining but absurd" - by Island Living (Bermuda)
This very entertaining film with an absolutely absurd plot is carried by its big stars - the amazing Tom Hanks, the delightful Audrey Tautou and Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellan).

"Even better than the first series" - by Valdemar
It starts off a little slow with many of the characters still attending high school but as the series progresses there are so many many twists and turns and escalating stakes that you'll be on the edge of your seat.
Will Zero prove to be a saviour or tyrant?
A satisfying conclusion to a truly excellent series.

"Excellent book for IT Professionals who are not quite sure how computers work!" - by Mark Shackelford (Worthing, UK)
As a software development manager, I employ many programmers (and other assorted life forms), and although they are (often) well versed in Object Oriented coding and High-Level languages, there is often a gap in their knowledge of the basics of computer science.
What are the constituent elements of a computer? How is a CPU put together? How do transistors work? How do you build a logic gate? What is electricity? What is Assembly Language and how does it compare to Machine Code?

Although you don't need to know the answers to these questions to be a good programmer - it is a bit like being a good car driver, but not really understanding how the internal combustion engine works - or how an automatic gearbox works... I think it is useful to understand the basics of the beast you are using - it at least makes you understand some ... full review
