"Very good" - by Noname
Used once so far to fry fish and chips, did excellent job on both. Used three ltrs of sunflower oil, left it to cool for a couple of hours then used the auto filter system, hod no problem what so ever, oil filtered in to the container which was then placed in fridge. Oil looked like new after filtering. No leeks at all, very easy to use and clean. Would recommend.

"I am now glad I got the two in one" - by Jane Moor
I've had mine 6 months now and was torn between just the normal version and the two in one. I am now glad I got the two in one, as it's a great item for grilling. My only gripes are the cost (far too much for what it is), and the noise (like a loud hair dryer). It makes great fat free chips using frylight only, or you can use oil.

Great for cooking small amounts of food such as starters etc. Cleaning is fussy and could be made easier but I enjoy being able to make a handful of chips of the fussy one in the family :-)

"Great little fryer" - by Uncle Adrian
I ordered this deep fat fryer and received it the next day (free delivery!) It is a great deep fat fryer, it heats up quickly and fries perfectly. Its lowest temperature setting is 150°C but if you stop it short of 150°C you can get it as low as 130°C which is perfect for the first frying of chips. The fryer is compact, easy to store and clean. Highly recommended!

"Although there are some shortcomings, this fryer is worth every penny for the way it cooks perfect chips." - by IanW (Eastbourne, UK)
Although I like fried food, I try to keep my consumption low for health reasons. My indulgence is oven chips which, although not a tasty as “real” chips, are much lower in fat. I’ve toyed with the idea of a low-fat fryer but, until now, have resisted it, so the opportunity to try the Tefal Easy Fry Precision Health Fryer was very welcome.
On opening the box, I was disappointed with the very poor instruction manual, which certainly didn’t live up to the quality and price of the product. The manual is very small and the paper is of poor quality. Printing is too small, in black and white, and relies too much on poorly drawn graphics.
This is quite a large appliance, but it’s quite attractive, and looks good on a work surface. Control of operation is by a touch panel on the top of the ... full review

"This is a good designed and compact low fat fryer. You only require a table spoon of oil to fry a kilo of chips." - by ToP CoNtRiBuTeR
This is a good designed and compact low fat fryer. You only require a table spoon of oil to fry a kilo of chips.

The main difference to consider with a deep fat and a low fryer is the amount of cooking time required. This low fat fryer can take around 45 minutes to cook a kilo of chips.

I found operating this Tefal Actifry easy and cleaning the low fat fryer was just as easy. The non stick coating is very good to clean grease off.

The Tefal Actifry comes with a free recipe book which is very helpful in giving idea on what can be cooked using this low fat fryer.

This is not the cheapest option for a low fat fryer and not the best quality but it is decent and works okay and the health benefits are really good.

Overall this low fat fryer is high in cost, has slower cooking ... full review

"Brilliant fryer" - by Mrs. C. J. Urie (Glasgow)
I love this acti fry I used it for the first time the other evening and I couldn't believe that the small amount of oil could cook the chips. It takes quite a while for the chips to cook about 20-25 mins for a portion for two people. The chips are delicious nice and dry and crispy and the great thing no oily smell around the home plus it's so easy to clean. The fryer is expensive but well worth it and much cheaper online than in the shops I saved almost £60 compared to Tesco and the recipe book included have some delicious recipes.

"Love this little fryer" - by Deb Brooks
Love this little fryer, it is lightweight and easy to use, I love the fact you have a filter to catch all the bits, even with the oil in the fryer is still light enough to pick up and put away when it is cool. Very well packed and quick delivery

"Excellent and improved- a genuine good idea, made better." - by Amazoniac (France)
I have always been a fan of the Actifry range. I bought the first model many years ago, and have used it every week since. This newer model is certainly smarter looking, with a bowl shaped cooking vessel, and it also has a range of cooking pre-sets.
The opening mechanism of the lid is certainly an improvement, as the latch sits at the front and incorporates the unlocking device and a cool area to grab and open and close the lid.
At first sight the lid does seem slightly less sturdy than the previous models, but in use it seems absolutely fine.
The noise level seems the same. It isn’t a quiet thing in use, but no noisier than a microwave or multi-cooker. The heating element is slightly more powerful in this model, and I certainly noticed that my chips were much crisper.
It will cook a huge batch of ... full review
