"totally worthwhile investment" - by Lilit
This book is always at my bedside, i read it before going to bed and after waking up.. of all the books i have been through this one trully explains the essence of the technical analysis applicable to most financial markets. The chapters cover every detail of all the questions i had, it is written in an amazingly easy to understand manner, there is a good section about top-down market analysis for equities and decent explanation about the links between bonds, commodities , stocks, to wrap it up, anyone who is a beginner like me, should look no further, this is THE BOOK!!

"This book is really good. It helps you get to grips with technical ..." - by Jon133
This book is really good. It helps you get to grips with technical analysis in a very practical way.

I've been trading for several years already and I'd say that this book helped to fine-tune my strategy. If you're a complete beginner to technical analysis, it might take you some time to get through and some parts may be very difficult to understand but it will ultimately outline how to use technical analysis to trade profitably.

I can confirm that my trading business has been more profitable as a result of using this book.

"Recommended reading: Covers a different angle from most other commodity market books" - by Peter Sainsbury (London, UK)
Positioning analysis is a vast area of research that bridges both fundamental and technical analysis and can be used to understand commodity price dynamics, risk and sentiment. Mark’s book is a practical guide to understanding commodity price dynamics from a different viewpoint from most other books on the subject. A great book for both beginners and experts alike and useful for both commodity consumers (manufacturers for example) and speculators to understand commodity risk in more detail.

"A "must have" book" - by A. Niel (London, UK)
This book was first published, in the USA, in 1932, decades before the days of desktop PCs and sophisticated charting software. It remains a classic and many successful traders have benefitted greatly from reading it.

For those who wish to really learn what chart pattern analysis is all about, then look no further than Schabacker's book. Once you grasp his concepts of trading, which are not complicated, you will be able to enter the markets with renewed confidence . Those ineffective, lagging technical indicators, that clutter up your charting screen at the moment, can be dispensed with. You will learn how to use price action, alone, just as the great traders of the past did,

It is, in my opinion, one of the most valuable books that any aspiring trader/investor can have in their collection.

"Well written." - by Jl Powell
Much easier to get to grips with this subject than other books I have read. Not to say it's easy and never will be. To successfully trade stocks and Forex is a challenging business. If it were easy everybody would be doing it and making millions. Have good hope that the info contained in this book will do the business.

"Candlestick Charting" - by Steve
Excellent book which like all "for Dummies" publications takes the reader through the basics before advancing to the more serious stuff. I know a lot more now about candlestick charting than previously and can now view charts of shares and currencies and invest with more confidence. Only negative point is that it's written by an American and the terminology relates to the US terms for most of the candlesticks. If you just focus on the relevant shapes and understand what each of them imply then you'll be OK.
