Great new IP that really shows the fun of fighting without all the violence and gore of more mature games.

"Crazy awesome game on the Switch. A must own!" - by Felipe M.
Disgaea 5 or just the Disgaea series in general is something I've never played before but since this was coming out to the Switch, I figured I'd give it a try and turns out I'm really liking it a lot!

I received it two days before the official release so that's pretty nice of Amazon. The reversible cover looks much nicer than the main one, with many more characters on the cover.

Moving on, in terms of gameplay it's absolutely fantastic (traditional J-RPG with tons of crazy awesome characters to use and choose from) and visually spectacular too. If there's anything I'd complain about is that it has too many text boxes to the point I just skip them because they take far too long and I just want to play it which is the point of video games, after all. Yes, I realise I'm missing out on the dialogue but this ... full review

"A must for all Isaac fans" - by Dan1986
UPDATE: If you order this version in UK it is NOT the launch edition so yes it is a different cover but no manual or stickers.
This is like no other game you will play, yes it is loosely based on Zelda mechanics but that's as far as it goes. The art is amazing, the soundtrack memorable, and the gameplay and variety of items and things to unlock is insane. You will easily be putting in a lot of hours to get everything. Afterbirth Plus is the definitive version, I have this already on the pc but when I saw it would be a physical release for the Switch I knew I had to have it. I acquired this from overseas as there is no sign of a EU release yet(although it is coming) and the case, stickers and Manual are all amazing. This is how an Indie game is done right!

"The best just got better!" - by Andrew
One of my favourite games of all time in physical form for the first time ever (Cave Story 3D was a travesty and will not be spoken of)! Nicalis have outdone themselves by improving the game in subtle ways and making a gorgeous manual. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

"Still Pretty Much Perfect" - by Terramax (UK)
This is basically an identical port from the previous versions released some two years ago on various other systems. Though you may not know as, due to licensing issues, it was blocked from a western release… until now!

And thank goodness for that! For if you have even the slightest interest in traditional puzzle games then you simply MUST own this title!

As the title suggests, you’re getting both of the (arguably) best traditional puzzlers in gaming history – Tetris and Puyo Puyo (also known as ‘Puyo Pop!’ on western shores). But this is just the tip of the iceberg; as Sega have included a wealth of game modes that combine the pair in some very unique and addictive ways.

Include that you can play just about any mode for up to four players, on the go, and have fully-fledged online capabilities, you’ve all the ingredients for a game you’ll likely be playing ... full review

"Who needs a d pad?" - by N. Piper
Played Mortal Kombat just before on the Mega Drive, on a d-pad, and after just 5 minutes my thumb was not liking it. The analogue stick is definitely the way to go and it wouldn't take long to perfect. The game is seriously quick, looks great and worth the price in my eyes. You pay for Nintendo at it's best.
