"Lock, stock and 2 smoking barrels of pure comedy genius."
(Once Upon A Long Ago.)
I've liked Sean Lock for a good couple of years since he started on Eight Out Of Ten Cats. This was the first DVD release I'd seen from him and it didn't disappoint.
His ascerbic, sarcastic wit makes him one of the funniest comedians of our time. He takes the mick out of people but he doesn't push it too far. I think part of his appeal is not only the tone of voice he uses but his facial expressions; he has the overall performance down pat and it makes for pure comedy gold.
I also love his comedic rants, such as the roll-up cigarettes scenario which leads onto the McDonalds one. I also enjoyed this more, having been one of the "Wembley Response Squad" myself and knowing the guy he's on about.
I won't spoil it, but it's well worth watching.
