"As usual, the producers have gone all out for ..." - by Mr. Alan G. Brown (UK)
As usual, the producers have gone all out for another impossible mission and succeeded in their bid to outdo James Bond. I won't give away the plot, but he is almost outdone by the baddie who outthinks every move. Usual battery of fast-moving action and stunts while having to work 'off the grid'. Everyone is starting to look a little older, so he will have to train younger replacements soon.

"Brilliant and Fantastic" - by HeroSword168 (Liverpool, England)
After watching MI 1-3 one might think what else could Tom Cruise offer. Well it turn out to be a very good movie and I did not want to leave my seat. The story or should I say the MISSIONS were IMPOSSIBLE and got worse one after the other. Two advises from me : Watch it on bluray and do not watch MI Rogue Nation until you watch The Ghost Protocol first. Hope you all enjoy the movies as much as I did. Brilliant !! Looking forward to MI 6. lol ^_^

"One to watch" - by Kilrymont (Somewhere in Scotland)
Not far off getting that elusive 5th star, this one.
Neeson's cast to type as the tough guy with problems - and heart. This is a movie that *moves*. Despite being set almost entirely inside an airliner it never felt claustrophobic, which can be an issue for such productions. My reviews never tell the story - or seldom do at any rate. To get the plot you'll need to watch it, my "job" is to warn you about a turkey of a flick or warn against the chance you might miss a goodie. This one's a goodie. It involves suspense, no idea whodunnit till the film's nicely ripe and overall it's a very satisfactory romp involving the above.
The cast was pretty good overall, the plot wasn't insane enough to force disbelief to be engaged and the plot holes were overall pretty well acceptable. Good entertainment, and a ... full review

"A must see and own." - by Stephan Klose (Vienna, Austria)
This movie was a fantastic Adventure. I was once again damned to see it first on Blu Ray because I fell ill when it was in theaters but it was so worth the waiting. A fantastic movie with many nods to Parts III and IV... A really original story. I am not gonna write a lengthy review since you all probably know it anyway but the Blu Ray is really worth the money compared to a Download.. I've looked at it side by Side and the Higher Bitrate gives both a better picture and of course the real DTS-HD Soundtrack.

"Scotland's own version of '24'/ 'West Wing'" - by NGL (Rome, Italy)
I was expecting a very parochial, twee read and was thoroughly surprised and entertained by this fast thriller.

The writing is good - not spectacular, and there is some dialogue that may be incomprehensible to non-Scots. As Scotland faces a referendum in 2014, this story of 'what could be' is highly enjoyable and the pace quick.

This is a fun, quick read.

"Those were the days my friend...." - by Paul (UK)
Pure nostalgia value. Anybody watching these for the first time will probably wonder how anything with these kind of production values ever got on the air in the first place and they have a point. But to someone who was six at the time and had his first big crush on Alexandra Bastedo they are gold dust😃

"ission: Impossible - Rogue Nation -- Original Score" - by JMM (New York)
The Mission: Impossible franchise has attracted some very talented composers -- Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, and Michael Giacchino. And now we can add Joe Kramer to that list - he delivers a score every bit as strong as the previous installments. Kraemer scored the last Christopher McQuarrie picture "Jack Reacher" (also starring Tom Cruise), and his score was serviceable but not very memorable. I'm pleased to say that in my opinion he does a really great job with "Mission Impossible 5".

The score works in the well-known Mission Impossible main theme, you can hear it both at the end of the first track (which I assume will play over the main title cards) as well as the last track "Finale and Curtain Call". The theme is also prominent in some of the action cues, such as "Moroccan Pursuit". Kraemer's variations of the theme is really great.

Most franchises tend to keep the ... full review

"Rogue Nation" - by C. S (London England)
This book, unlike many other similar books, does not simply point out that the US and its presidents have foolishly failed in their task of being a society.
Rogue Nation is not a novel or even an essay. It is set out in a series of points. Each point is numbered from 1 to 571 (with #571 being "It is time for the human race to enter the solar system" - G Bush Jr.), so that any idea can be skipped and read at a later time.
This book looks at why war was declared on Iraq, what America has and hasn't done which allow for them to become the richest nation, and of course where would it be without a few quotes from George Bush Jr.

"Great story arc!" - by Mr. S. Hundal (Leeds, UK)
I liked this collection. Often Magneto is only covered in brief as the x-men do their thing, but in this story arc you see Magneto as the prime focus with a brilliant story line. I would recommend it highly, really worth a read.
