"Does what it says on the tin" - by Roger P
This is a short book but it contains enough information to start someone off in the right direction regarding finances. Yes, this knowledge can be found elsewhere but there is enough here to inform without filler or overwhelm.
I think this would suit younger people better because of its simplicity

"Essential Reading" - by Joe Penham (London UK)
The back cover of the paperback leads with the statement 'MONEY is a game you can win. First, understand the rules'. You might think therefore that Rob Moore's 'Money' is a get rich manual or possibly just another self help book.

In truth it is both, and *much* more besides. The author is no stranger to self development himself and is candid regarding his own story from struggling artist to successful entrepreneur. Those familiar with his social media output are well aware of his desire to share what has made him successful and he does this with a level of commitment that conveys a real desire to see others succeed. The self development aspects of the book are well structured and the author clearly understands retention – there is just enough repetition to get the point firmly across without it being laboured. The concepts are well thought out and refined and ... full review

"Take Control of your financial future!" - by Review Robot X345Yu8
John Kay is an excellent writer - his books and columns are always fascinating and informative.

In this book he lays out a framework for thinking about how to invest for your long term future. It is not 'easy' reading but sure enough the content matter demands that it is treated seriously by the reader.

If you follow his advice I am confident you will be better off by a considerable amount within a decade - however this will take effort on the part of the reader and also a considerable amount of courage to take personal responsibility instead of relying heavily on institutions. This is a book to read several times to remind you of its key arguments. Foremost of these is that financial intermediaries are there to make money from you - if you can minimize use expensive financial tools, minimize fees and commissions you will be much better off ... full review

"Highly recommended !!" - by Mrs BJC Bennett
Such a great little book ! It's full of good advice and tips on how to manage your money, and think about where you could do better. Written in a very readable style, so everything is easy to understand, and allows you to dip in out of the relevant sections as you need them. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to sort out their finances and plan for the future.

"Great log book" - by KS the Dreamer (uk)
A really great log book, I wasn't sure what to expect, to be honest I've not had cause to use one before. Esch page has large, clear columns for money in out etc. It's A4 size, a little bigger than i thought it would be, but that's my fault for not checking the measurements.

"Comprehensive Reference" - by chris4robin
This is most comprehensive book on Financial Planning that I've seen. It covers all areas that most people will ever need.

The only issue is that some of the allowance data is a little out of date but apart from that it's one of the best reference books around.
