"It does exactly what you want, and does it very well." - by ken
This wasn't the camera I was looking for. I wanted one with a rechargeable Lithium battery because my last camera used to eat batteries. Not so with this little beauty I can load it with a couple of alkaline batteries and shoot away to my hearts content. Now I see the wisdom of Nikon. If the batteries expire, I don't have to find a socket and wait a couple of hours for it to charge, I just buy some more batteries and whack them in.
When it comes to using the camera, I've never found one that is easier to use. It really is a matter of point and shoot. The 5X zoom can be operated from the shutter button. Even starting the video recording is a single button press.
You get High definition pictures, short video capability with sound. The LCD screen is not clear in bright sunlight ... full review

"Very handy affordable big zoom camera" - by am
I bought this for myself and my partner we both have an interest in taking photos we're not experienced but like to have fun taking pictures of wildlife or landscapes. My phone can take quite nice photos but there are times I need a much longer reach and we didn't want to spend a lot on a camera so picked this up.

In most ways it's a very simple camera to use relatively few modes and quick access to the most of the settings it won't confuse users straight forward operation. In the box you get:
4 x AA alkaline batteries
Lens cap and a cord to attach it
USB cable and strap

It's nice to have the batteries included but you will get much more shots from good quality rechargeable cells we have a lot around so use them and keep the included ones as a spare ... full review

"OH MY STARS THERE IS NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS!" - by Amazon Customer
OH MY STARS THERE IS NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS. I have had a smallish beginners bridge camera for a couple of year now and had decided that the time was right for a new one. I looked into the proper dslr cameras and the big bridge cameras and the spec on each of the brands i liked Nikon being a massive choice from the get go. I spent weeks looking for a new camera and was shown this one right at the start of my search, however wanted to look around as I knew what I wanted. Also I have problems with my hands so wanted a camera that was not overly small but not to big and heavy that on the days when my hands were really painful I wouldn't be able to use the camera. This a great size and weight and there is no really tiny ... full review

"Great for the price" - by Amazon Customer
Great for the price, cleaned my camera as soon as I got it - no instructions had to look up online how to use it, still unsure what some of the items are for.

"Helps to Protect your SLR camera from the worst of the british weather" - by Bestdealsguru
I tend to take a lot of pictures and videos of animals and scenery with the camera on a tripod and using the remote control and I don’t worry about my expensive gear getting wet so spotted one of these to try.
The cover arrived in plain plastic bag without any instructions (although none are really needed), the cover simply slips over your camera and lens to keep all the rain, dust, dirt, snow etc from messing up your equipment.

The back of the cover is clear so you can still see all your settings on the back screen and you can easily slip your hands back in to adjust anything, it is slightly more difficult to adjust focus on the front with your hands on the lens but auto focusing works great.
This has really improved my enjoyment of outdoor photography as I can now go out on ... full review

"Lovely little camera." - by TRACY L GREGORY
This is a lovely little point and shoot camera, the pink colour is much nicer than depicted, a kind of subtle metallic shade of pink, not garish. It is really small and slim too. I am very pleased with it as I just wanted a simple camera with a fantastic zoom and if you are looking for the same I would recommend. I have found it very easy to use so far, I have had it in 'auto' mode. I have taken a few pictures and am very pleased with the result, I don't know much about photography but the colours and detail seem very good so far. I am looking foward to shooting some movies. To conclude, if you want a simple camera for under £200, I would say that this should be considered, I don't think you are going to be disappointed.

"EXPENSIVE BUT COOL" - by MCK
First things first: this is a very, very good camera. It is not perfect, by any means... but it is a decent piece of kit. It feels solid and sturdy, and looks pretty impressive. It could even be described as chunky and, indeed, it might prove slightly too heavy for smaller hands. But I consider its robustness to be a major positive. Of course, for many people, the top selling point here is the enormous zoom. And I can confirm that it is fantastic, a real bonus for an amateur photographer like me to just wants to get great views for a photo album with the minimum of fuss. As the owner of a DSLR, I was too lazy to constantly change lenses while out and about. With the P900, this is no longer an issue. No matter how far away the intended object is, I simply point, zoom and ... full review
