"Finally a book for the masses" - by Larry Christofaro
I do a lot of training for Microsoft Project and it looks like I finally found a book that provides just the right amount of content for the typical Project Manager. This is a great book that can help most any Project Manager build and manage project schedules. What it doesn't do is boil the ocean of features and functions that are rarely used and difficult to use correctly. This book provides a simple approach, applies easy to read instructions, and all wrapped up in a clean, colorful package. If you want a book that can teach you how to manage projects using Microsoft Project 2013, this is the book for you. If you are an expert looking for a reference book, than any other book will do.

"really great help" - by LibbyS (UK)
I recently bought Microsoft Project 2007 but as i am a complete technophobe I wanted a book to help me to use it. My husband warned me off using the 'step by step guides' as his prev experience was that they weren't clear at all. But in true wifely fashion, I ignored his advice and went ahead and got it...and it's brilliant. Instructions are so clear and it literally is step by step. It assumes no prior knowledge or IT understanding and explains everything really clearly. Am so pleased I got it as it's really helping me to get the most out of the software, and I'd really recommend it.

"Well laid out and covers all the bases." - by Nick Flynn (Devon, UK)
I have been a project and program manager for many years, and have had some extensive training in various techniques and methodologies, and have also provided in-house training for new team members as well.

As I have now moved out of PM, I thought I would get Project Management for Dummies as a bit of a refresher. I have had a number of 'Dummies' books over the years, and have found them to be well thought out and pretty reliable.

Of course, this is a book about Project Management, not about the use of a Project Management tool. Many people I have encountered have been proficient in the use of a software tool, but have been lousy Project Managers.

The chapters are concise and readable, and I would suggest that this is a very good introduction to anyone managing a team or a project.

"Agile Project Management" - by Amazon Customer (UK)
From a Project/Programme Managers perspective, this is excellent introductory material for those who haven't used Scrum formally. The book introduces the reader to each of the Scrum concepts and also attempts to portray them in a real-world scenario. For those planning to undertake the certification course this would be a very good primer along with [[ASIN:0131479415 Agile Estimating and Planning (Robert C. Martin)]] by Mike Cohn.
