"A wealth of delicious recipes"
Like most women, I've tried a number of diets over the years but all have ultimately failed. As the author quite rightly points out in this book, as soon as you deny yourself certain foods they automatically become more desirable. I think that is the fundamental reason why this diet is so successful; you eat normally for five days of the week and 'fast' for just two.
'Fasting' however, is not as scary as it sounds! It involves consuming 500 calories per day, and this book provides you with a wealth of delicious recipes that all look and taste far better than you would imagine for such low calorie offerings.
The book itself is very well written and lavishly illustrated. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is tired of the more traditional diets, whereby deprivation is the order of the day.
