"Extended Review (inital view & 3 weeks usage)" - by Moneeb
Just recieved in the post today, 2 days earlier than expected. Having come from Blackberry 10 and windows 8 phone there is a lot of features so will try and give you a more detailed review after some further use but initial use seems promising. The additional suprise was also the inclusion of earphones in the box which was great. The only noticable points on first use are that due to the bloatwear, pretty much 500mb of the 2gb is instantly used and seems to be used at all times in the background so conscious having lots of apps open will slow it down quickly. Also the preinstalled ringtones are horrible but the rest of the phone is real value for money. The screen is detailed and vivid. The fingerprint reader is very accurate and fast. Being able to save multilple fingerprints really help. Thats all for now :-)

"One premium built phone to rule them all at a ludicrously low price" - by Mr Grumpy
I've had this phone now since August 2015 and it's absolutely, positively, ridiculously good. A fantastic mid-ranger that makes pretty much every other flagship mobile appear completely irrelevant and stupidly overpriced. If you can live with the one major deficiency, the Honor 7 should be high on your list of desirable phones. Read on for a detailed review or just scroll down to the end for the summary points. This premium handset exudes class and build quality whilst offering top drawer functionality and heavy duty specs at a price that most other companies are selling their mid range offerings for. Not only does the Honor 7 blow away everything at this price point, it also obliterates premium flagships costing twice as much. Why bother spending over 500 quid on the latest Samsung Galaxy when an Honor 7 offers a ... full review

"Great hardware and nice form factor. EMUI is a bit of trial to get round" - by jeestirling
I was looking for a cheap phone that had good specs, including SD card, and that I could still use one-handed if necessary. The Honor 6 is a good package and very good value. It is a bit blocky compared to LG and HTC and it has a single speaker at the back instead of the front, but the specs hold up well against much more expensive phones.

The EMUI skin, however, is definitely not to my taste. It would be good for someone coming from iOS or for someone who wants an iOS experience without paying for it, but for someone used to Google Android it is a disappointing shock. It does not support widgets and does not even have an app drawer (although you can put app shortcuts into folders). While it does let you get to the Google Play Store it also pushes its own browser, ... full review
