"Awesome headphone amplifier" - by Erin Loudy
I am very pleased with this little unit. It is simple to operate. This amp made a noticeable difference for me. I don't want to use my headphones without it now. It's simple and small so it fits in the pocket. Would recommend it to any audio file kind of person. Would buy it again. A good product for the money.

"Yes I bought 1... It's Brilliant." - by Joner (Ludlow Shropshire)
Brilliant...
What a little gem! Yes bought one (not here thou...oops) But it's such a neat little package and works/sounds Awesome through my DAC with Philips A3 Pro Headphones (bought from Amazon)
But you can increase the sound quality by 99% How! just by urself 2 Tesla E180F valves/tubes then just remove the Jap valves and insert the gold plated Tesla (Czech Republic) valves/tubes then fire it up!
The transformation is unbelievable.. The mids and highs are so fresh and clean with the lows softly resonate your ear drums as the sound stage takes you to another planet.
Believe me what a difference in sound quality it just blew me away. Please folks if your a serious music lover and strive for that ultimate sound, change the valves/tubes you will Not regret it. It pays to change them @ £25 for 2 its a no brainer.

Happy listening.

"Mainly that this headphone amp was no better than the DAC on a macbook pro and that ..." - by Edward Mortimer (London, UK)
I felt compelled to write a review after reading some of the comments made in other reviews of this product. Mainly that this headphone amp was no better than the DAC on a macbook pro and that it wouldn't drive headphones such as the AKG K702. Well, it certainly is better than any DAC I've heard on a Macbook Pro or any computer for that matter. Also its more than capable of driving my K702's with deep lows, punchy mids and clean highs.
In fact it makes for a very affordable audiophile quality experience, now I'm sure there are better units out there but I also bet they will have to cost significantly more to improve on what is available here. I had plans to get the fantastic audiolab m-dac, but for my kind of listening it may be overkill and for the time being at least the E10k with my ... full review

"Ideal if your TV lacks the audio output sockets you require..." - by Camberwell Carrot
Hopefully, this review provides a synopsis of what I was aiming for (if it's of help to anyone else).

I wanted to connect a pair of wireless Sennheiser 165 headphones to a Samsung Smart TV. The 165's utilise a 3.5mm jack. Although the TV has a 3.5mm jack socket, using this cuts off the TV's Speakers - sound only comes through the headphones. The only other 'audio out' available on the TV was an optical socket. To use this, I needed a Digital Audio Converter (DAC)... ...and an optical lead. To cut a long story short, optical lead goes from TV optical socket to the DAC. Then (3.5mm) audio lead goes from the DAC to headphone charger/cradle; I now have sound through both Headphone and TV Speaker (both DAC and charger/cradle require a power source i.e. mains). Additionally, because the DAC has a built in amp, I can create a perfect ... full review

"Great little device which can liberate some of your wired ..." - by AMS (UK)
Great little device which can liberate some of your wired headphones. Bluetooth connection is stable and the sound is clear and hiss-free. I have used it with B & W P3's, V-Moda M80's, Sennheiser On Ear...all easily powered and given a new lease of life with an iPhone 8. Recommended.

"bass, not volume" - by Katherine (UK)
Definitely improved sound quality for low cost headphones, and boosts bass. Not a good amplifier if it's volume you want to boost.

"looks the part in all is rgb goodness" - by Bluetac (UK)
up and running no issues windows 10 pro X64 , really wish the rgb header was on the side of it like the power and front panel , there is room for it there , bad choice . other than that does what it should and looks pretty sweet.

"The build quality doesn't seem to bad. But like most things I guess only time ..." - by ledfree (On the throne)
I have been look for a plug in amp for a while. I was intrigued by the Vitoos Plexi Sound because of the price and the "Plexi" tag. Anyone who plays guitar will know what connotations the word Plexi will invoke. Plexi (short for plexiglass) is the generic term given to Marshall amplifiers made in the 1960's and early 1970's. And are much sought after by collectors and players alike, me included. Though I don't have one of those magnificent amps, I have played through a couple and I currently own a late 70's Marshall.

Build and ergonomics: The build quality doesn't seem to bad. But like most things I guess only time will tell.
One thing that is somewhat of a minor annoyance, is the placement of the controls. When it's plugged into a guitar where the jack socket is on the bottom (e.g a Les Paul). Because the ... full review

"Great value and excellent software." - by Bill (Watford, UK)
One of the better USB external sound cards I have used. I like the features of the software, especially the voice changing settings to mess around with. If you need a good external USB soundcard that can power high ohm headphones, these are a good lower value option for those on a budget.
