Fast delivery and well packaged. Really easy to use and effective. It comes with two bits, a plunger and a twisted end. Nice and light and easy to put together. Just be careful when dismantling as a little bit of waste water gets into the recess where you screw it together.....
Shopped around various makes of drain rods. Most of them were cheaper but looked too frail to stand up to much use. Eventually settled on Bailey and I'm glad I did. These are very sturdy and I've used them a number of time to clear drains and water channels. Just remember to keep twisting them clockwise, so they don't unscrew and come apart in the drain !!

Actually I did buy these for the missus. I work offshore so as anyone who does, knows, things will go wrong when you are away. I have a rather tortuous route for the drains with a minimal fall, so fairly regularly we have to help things along. As we renovated the house and dug pretty much everywhere up we learned where all the pipes are and of course nothing demystifies things that actually fixing or altering them. My wife helped me so many timed on the work that she knows as well as I do where all the drain problems are and once when I was away she had to deal with a blockage - which she did using a pipe;
