"For 10 quid you can't go far wrong. Works with a smallish telescope without any apparent issues." - by Saitama Sam
A solid 4 stars- especially considering the price. I have tested it with my 20-60 * 60 telescope (weighs about 2pounds or 1 KG). For £10.45 you can't go far wrong and is absolutely fine to use.

"Bloody Brilliant" - by listertech
I bought this as I find it difficult to hold my camera steady when zooming in fully. I am blown away by this for under £14 it weighs next to nothing and comes in a nifty little bag. I can also attach my Apeman A66 (GoPro type) camera to it.

"Recomended" - by Laura Padilla
Tripod and monopod are awesome. Quality of product is very good. For horizontal panoramics the head is good, for vertical or combinated is just ok, if you use it for video as me, you would need a stabilizer in postproduction.
The only CON I can say its that the quick release made from plastic just do the job, but not always. The thing is that camera moves even if you fix the plate of the quick release to the camera very firmly, it would need a piece of foam or so between the camera and the plate to keep it tight. But I think you can take the whole head apart and attach a new head if you want to. Overall I would buy it again, but if you are moderately using it for video, consideer other options first, as it would only do the job if you are on a ... full review

"Great Tripod" - by Ball
I wanted a tripod to take short videos with my iPhone 7. And the stand does as described - the legs are flexible yet sturdy with a decent surface grip and the phone holder fits my iPhone.

The tripod is very good for its value, if your looking for something professional then this isn't what your looking for however its good for an Ameture photographer or video artist! In general the tripod is solid and stays up, I've been using it for a few days now and hasn't failed me yet *touch wood*.

"It would be nice if tripods in general came with more than one ..." - by Terence Relph-knight
Mostly plastic, I don't know how strong the stalk coming of the ball joint is, but overall this tripod does the job. It would be nice if tripods in general came with more than one shoe plate so you could easily swap devices. Probably difficult to impossible to get another plate for this one.

"great for getting iPhones" - by Fuhr
Works well and great for getting iPhones, cameras and go-pros, easily fit at any angle. The grip legs are amazing, just like monkey arm. And the remote shutter works very well, just connect the bluetooth then press the "IOS", easy to control!

"Good Value" - by RK
This is an extremely sturdy and versatile tripod. The whole thing feels solid and the legs provide a solid platform from which to work from. The tripod is easy to open and close and has proved an excellent fit with my Canon camera.

The tripod also converts to a monopod. Generally, I am not a big fan of monopods preferring the stability that the tripod offers. However, I have to say it is quicker to set up, allowing for a faster photograph, and therefore is well suited to wildlife photography. However, for landscapes I definitely prefer the tripod.

Weight wise the tripod weighs just under two kilos; I suspect this is without the bag and any other bits you might want. This makes it fairly mid weight, and comparable with many other tripods on the market. On the one hand when combined with all your camera equipment is does add up to ... full review

"Good kit" - by GH23
Light enough to carry a distance. Functions well. I especially like the ball head - good a quality as other more expensive types.

"So keep it for your smartphone and be assured it will easily fit in your pocket and is so light you ..." - by David Bailey
This is very light, but also very flimsy. It is OK for a smartphone. It is too puny for a compact camera, or anything bigger. The joints quickly separate if you try to wrap the legs around anything thin and it is difficult to position the camera on it's portrait side. Even a small ball head would overwhelm it.

So keep it for your smartphone and be assured it will easily fit in your pocket and is so light you won't know you are carrying it.

"Tough, flexible and remarkably effective but needs additional ball head" - by TheyCallMe MrGlass (london)
This is a brilliant radical piece of camera equipment. it can handle a lot of weight. I have mounted my JVC HD620 Camcorder (310g) plus highest capacity battery (84g) plus a canon wide angle lens that weighs more than my camcorder (330g) - total 726g. And that is less than a third of the quoted maximum weight of 3kg. It felt completely safe and secure. The legs have many joints to make it bend round most ground fixed objects with the legs clamping round rails and posts very tightly. However the manueverability of the head is limited. So I also bought the Joby Gorilla Ball head attachment:

...which perfectly complements this gorillapod so I strongly suggest both items be bought as a complete flexible mini-tripod solution

It is also pretty effective as a normal table top tripod with the legs straightened. My camcorder can ... full review
