"Good value for money" - by F. Corbett (West Midlands)
It’s a good watch for the price. I think the step and sleep monitor isn’t the most accurate but for the price you pay, you really can’t complain. I’ve knocked a star off as I’m not massively keen on the UI of the app but overall I would recommend this if you want to track activity but don’t want to pay the price of a Fitbit.

"It’s a big watch" - by A. Reid (Southampton, UK)
I wanted a big watch with a clear display and that’s what I got. Some people are never satisfied though and I’d say it was a little bit too big … it’s huge!

Initially worried because it kept switching to the pulse measuring mode when my wrist bent but you can switch that off.

The display is large and clear, no issues there, and after a while you learn what buttons do what.

Nice enough and good for the price.

"good" - by Johnny
Very quick to setup. Ordered giff gaff for about 1 p and it came within 2 days. Download the app onto phone open app and it can’t see the watch. It wasn’t a problem as I rang the watch using my phone while the app was open. The watch/app worked perfectly after that and is actually more accurate than I had hoped. My daughter like it and therefore so do we. Absolutely brilliant and I would definitely recommend!

"Good quality watch" - by Victor (Bicester)
I like the thick leather strap.
And it's multifunction like alarm, stopwatch and and digital display.
Otherwise the LED light is helpful at this season, the night is so long.
It's quite heavy, if you don't like the watch is very light.

"Love my SoundWhiz; might save me a lot of money. Is there an App on the way?" - by Lawrence (Middlesbrough, UK)
So far, so very good! The whole experience, from pre-delivery through to real use, in tough conditions, has been delightful.

Clearly this company backs up their focus on great customer relations with a great product. It’s only early days but these headphones have the potential of saving me £000’s!

I had problems using my National Health Hearing Aids when going for a run - they need a neck loop receiver /transmitter to stream my playlist into my hearing aids. This system fails regularly, due to a weak initial signal and transmitter movement, during running, causing signal loss.

Further, the sweat produced was getting into the battery housing, causing the NHS (National Health Service), free hearing aids to power down; needing to be dried, in rice, for several hours.

I am currently testing some good, digital MFI (Made for iPhone) Hearing Aids that easily pair with an iPhone (no neckloop required); ... full review

"Better than the original strap but only partially overcomes the original design fault." - by Mr. David Murphy (UK)
Original Fitbit watch straps were no doubt designed for ease of replacing them and good looks but this leaves them with a weak spot where they hook on to the watch. This was further exacerbated by the catch that can only be fastened by inserting ones fingers or thumb between the strap and wrist and the force required means the average person will be unable not to pull against the aforementioned weak spot hastening its demise. This new design of strap has a standard ring and pin fastening which at least overcomes the second of these problems.

"So many great features!" - by Jen M
I’ve been in two minds about buying one of these or the more expensive branded one. I am so glad I bought this one! Does exactly the same, the app is fantastic, it arrived same day which was an added bonus, well package and clear instructions, only 1 hour to fully charge and I’m now on day 3 of wearing it and the battery is still 3/4 full!
It’s a lovely size and not too bulky on my petite wrist, I liked that!
As well as all the fitness tracking it does (heart rate, steps, calories burnt, activity time, step counter) it also has really cool features like call/sms/what’s app alerts, it vibrates lightly to alert me of message and calls and even displays on the screen who is calling me!! I love it! My toddler is forever hiding my phone so I totally love the ‘find my phone’ feature too.

"Big in size but works very well." - by JSouza
Excellent running watch. It captures GPS connection very fast. Of course like any other GPS equipped watch, during heavy cloudy days the connection breaks down. Also just like any top of the line Garmin brand the Polar is big in size. It's uncomfortable to sleep with it or where it on daily basis. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

"Returned my Apple Watch for the Fitbit Versa, here's why" - by Calvin Gates (UK)
I purchased an Apple Watch because I've got an iPhone (I'll probably change soon but right now, I have an iPhone). I figured it made the most sense. I'm not reviewing the Apple Watch here but here are the facts: the Apple Watch doesn't have an online dashboard to view/analyse your results/runs/heart/sleep - Fitbit does. In fact, the Apple Watch doesn't even have a built in sleep monitoring function (yes, 3rd party apps exist, but that's besides the point), you have to charge the Apple Watch around once every day, or second day if lucky. The Fitbit versa? 3-4 days between a charge, and it has built in sleep tracking.

It's extraordinarily hard to dislike the Fitbit versa. It doesn't set out to be a smartwatch, although it does have smartwatch features e.g it'll vibrate/notify you of an incoming SMS/iMessage. But if you're like me, and go walking, running, do martial ... full review

"Quite possibly my favourite watch of all time" - by MJ Thompson (UK)
I'd been looking for an activity tracker since new year just because I like the idea of being metric'd up. After spending a while looking, I opted for a Garmin Vivosmart HR, having had a Forerunner 305 and 410 in the past. That sadly went back after a couple of days due to inaccurate HR monitoring (review left on Amazon). I had seen the Vivoactive over the last few months but intially wanted the wrist based HR. Having found that to be less accurate than I wanted, I changed my search criteria and decided to go for the Vivoactive.

I won't hark on about all the features as you can read up on them in more detail on the Garmin website. What I will do is address some of the more negative points I read whilst reviewing.

Poor battery life. Not sure why some people are saying they are only getting 7 ... full review

"Looks really stylish" - by Gemini (London, UK)
This strap is so comfortable to wear. I have small wrists so it’s perfect as its a one size fits all. It compliments my rose gold Apple Watch face perfectly and it looks much more expensive than it was. The strap doesn’t catch the hair on my arm or pinch my skin at all as I was concerned it could as it’s close fitting to my skin.
