"Excellent for timelapse, needs a power button!" - by Amazon Customer (Dunstable)
I am working on a timelapse project and needed to use an older Canon 350D DSLR to record a construction site over a long period. I will add to this once that is complete but initial testing with this device set at 12 second and 9 second interval timelapse to run continuously worked really well.
I haven't tested the other features but seeing as it is just a remote shutter with timings I see no reason to think why these would work differently.
I have another one of these (branded differently but exactly the same device) which has a different input for the camera.
It would be nice if someone could produce one that has a choice of cables to cover all cameras.
Also, something which is off- no On/Off switch! I just turn one of the batteries around when not in use to get around this.
Basically it's a great product for the price ... full review

"Great case at a great price" - by E. Allan (UK)
The case arrived well packaged and on time. It is sturdy and easily holds a Nikon d3300 dslr plus a lens. There is some additional space for extras, such as a lens cleaning kit. Keeping the lens attached to the camera, I was able to fit in my purse and phone, too. I am very pleased with the case. The grey is darker than in the photo, which I am happy about!

"Useful accessory" - by Mr P.
Seems good quality and works well, but it triggers the shutter two seconds early, when the countdown reads +2, rather than on zero. It's consistent and I'll get used to it, but it's a bit odd. Perhaps the instructions have lost something in translation...

"Class Act" - by bilge rat
I took a long time to make up my mind to purchase this lens reading reviews left right and centre before taking the plunge, was I happy with my decision to buy?, indeed I was.
OK it is a heavy beast but so is the 5d mark 11 camera to which it is attached. I shall be using this lens for landscape and sports photography and weddings. I have ran a few shots since taking delivery and I am very impressed with the results, the bokeh is great and the weather sealing a bonus focusing is fast and quiet, even at my age (80s) I can handle its weight well though I did buy a better camera strap to help take the weight. If you want a top class lens buy this one you wont regret it.

"Great prime lens - a little noisy if pulling rack focus in film" - by Richie (UK)
This is a very good lens for the price.
It's a 50mm prime lens and you should note that on a crop sensor camera this would be around 80mm which basically means the view will be zoomed in.
This isn't perfect for in door shots unless you are in a large room but that's just a note to make.

The 1.8 F-stop is great for low light situations when compared to the starter lens kit which goes down to 3.5 (i believe) so this means you can shoot in doors or when it gets darker without resorting to a highier ISO shutter adjustments.
I shoot video so I need to stick to some rules for my ideal shot when it comes to motion blur etc.

The lens has a great focus ring because it's not right on the front like with the starter kit lens, it's set back a little and is a bit larger ... full review
