"Christian Bale is the perfect batman for me and Christopher Nolan was the perfect ..." - by Artemhsia
The epic Trilogy. Christian Bale is the perfect batman for me and Christopher Nolan was the perfect director to have this dark essence in the movies. Sountrack is great - Hans Zimmer managed to get our feelings. Batman Begins is the 1st and gives us all hints for the other two movies. Batman prepares for his ultimate battles with a good/bad Liam Neeson. His secret will reveal in 3rd movie...Michael Cane plays excellent the role of Alfred - a true Englishman and a father role at once. In movie two - oh what a memoriable acting by Heath Leadger (why so serious??!!!). Aaron Ekhart face still shocks me ....Movie 3 - Bruce is a lost soul, Wayne is lost until help comes from various sides. A different , darker catwoman - Anne Hathaway, a policeman with hope and a suprise in the end(Joseph Gordon Levitt and commissioner Gordon still at ... full review

"A triumph!!!" - by mummy spoon (South Yorkshire)
Wow, I'm kind of lost for words after that, I think I need to watch it again to fully process my thoughts. Avengers Infinity war is so action packed and fast paced that you barely get a second to take everything in, there is so much going on in every scene and then it ends on such a devastating note, it left me in shock.
I thought they did a fantastic job of covering all that they did, whilst managing to keep it focused and easy to follow, something DC often fail on. The humour which I love in the Marvel films still has a place and the many characters still keep their individual style and none get lost in the mix.
I can't wait for the next film, it's truly a real high point in Marvel's films, the film they've been building up to for 10 years and I have a ... full review

"It’s a great film" - by J. Kelly
I’m a big Star Wars fan, and I love this film. That said, it’s my least favourite of all the Star Wars films, if you ignore the prequels. Which you should.

The main theme of this film is summed up in a line from Kylo Ren: let the past die. This is a Star Wars film that wants to tell you to expect new and different things from both it and the films to follow. Which is great. Except it does mean there isn’t much satisfaction to be had. Big plans come to nothing, sub-plots end up having no effect on the rest of the film. Look, I get why that’s the case, but you can’t deny the effect that has on the audience.

But, at the end of the day, it’s hugely entertaining. There’s some great action scenes, the characters are still strong, and it was great to finally see Luke ... full review

"my expectations were elevated with all the "hype" that had gone before by the time I sat down to watch it and I came away slightly disappointed for some reason" - by Mr. S. A. Meehan (Sedgley, UK)
I think if I'd seen this movie soon after its cinema release I would have given it 5 stars. However, my expectations were elevated with all the "hype" that had gone before by the time I sat down to watch it and I came away slightly disappointed for some reason. Don't get me wrong, it's a well crafted piece of cinema and all the actors performances were first class, just don't expect "Saving Private Ryan"?

"Not as 'political agenda' as has been reported." - by Amazon Customer
This was bril;liant, loved every minute, a lot of folk said that ther was just too much political /political correctness agenda around racism etc and i simply did not find that, it was a great story with brilliant actors and well worth seeing for the visual effect alone, the colours, the tech, the battles, the personalities, they were fantastic :)

This 45 min documentary has some great scenery and fantastic underwater photography, in fact I think with it being filmed in 4k it may be the best I have seen. Without spoiling it for anyone the best thing is to watch this amazing film.

"Stunning picture and looks amazing in 4K HDR." - by Chase Porter
Fantastic programme and a definite show off piece if you own the right equipment. The picture quality on this is simply stunning and the 4K HDR has been done fantastically. If you own a 4K TV don't hesitate to pick this up.
The programme itself is extremely informative and was a pleasure to watch.

"Less is more." - by robert stirling (Tarn, South West France)
I like Denzil and can't think of a single film of his that I didn't enjoy.
But I'm apprehensive about ANY sequel to a popular 1st film (look at Jaws, Die Hard, Taken). This works for me because it doesn't try to outdo the original. Yes there is still very brutal action, the helpless are still very weak (in this type of film the writers know exactly who to pick as victims) and Denzil's character still appears to be indestructible.
Instead we get some much needed background about the Equalizer, the bad guys are a lot badder and don't just keel over like the Russians did in the 1st film.
There is less action, more dialogue and characterization of the lesser players and the script is sharper and Denzil gets into the flow much more ----- in the original his role seemed to be a bit cardboard, now he seems to know he ... full review

"A very enjoyable movie." - by Michael
All round a very good film. Brilliant special effects. A good story which fit in with the tone of the movie, I will say however the villains story arc was a little basic and can be seen in any number of films, not very original, unlike the rest of the film.

To summarise, give it a watch it just might surprise you 😊

"A 4K UHD & HDR extraviganza!" - by Howard
This has to be one of the best films to watch to see the true capability of 4k UHD and HDR. Simply breathtaking in clarity, colour and detail. I love watching this over and over again. It helps that the storyline is quite solid and that there is adult humour interspersed with the dialog. Very well acted with just the right amount of grit, but hammy too.

"A stellar return for the franchise with some troubling questions about genetic technology." - by Mr.Ed. (UK)
A stellar follow up to Jurassic World. Rich visuals and a well engineered DTS-X soundtrack. The movie does ask some troubling questions about genetic engineering and the responsibility we have as a society to the things we create. I personally enjoyed it overall, but I really did not understand the role of Justice Smith who played Franklin Webb. What was his purpose, was it to scream like a girl? I did not think it was funny. I did enjoy the return of B.D Wong who plays Dr.Wu, he has truly turned into the committed scientist with a real love for the science he is creating which comes across as truly frightening simply because he asks the question of if he can but not if he should. It is a welcome return for Jeff Goldblum who returns as Ian Malcom, who has really matured since his days of always being on ... full review

"Great" - by coached88
Very good star wars movie without social justice issues with men being incompetent , and women with purple hair bossing them around . The story centers around Hans early years around a decade before new hope . This film looks more like the originals with less obvious CGI .

"Good remasters" - by AsNGuy
Great value, audio is definitely a standout in this set, its active and very immersive, video is okay for the age, at least in 1&2, but 3 was a letdown. Just a classic and a decent remaster video wiss, audio wise it’s a real standout
