"A really good buy" - by Amazon Customer
Exactly what I wanted. A wonderfully clear view through the viewfinder, and automatic switch between screen and viewfinder adds to ease of use. In fact, the whole layout is quickly adapted to and easier and speedier than my previous, Fuji Finepix, bridge camera. After just a few days owning it, I've already mastered some difficult shots that I could never achieve before. I love this camera.

"pro reviewers cannot praise it highly enough & I agree" - by Amazon Customer
brilliant camera. I have waited ever since digital cameras first came out (25 + years ago? ) for something this good. this is my 4th digital bridge camera & the first one worth having. Apart from its many other + points it has a shutter release speed & focus speed ( in reasonable light ) that is virtually instantaneous. Unless you have a very special need for a DSLR with the huge cost of extra lenses this will do everything you could ever want to do. I have taken shots of the moon using digital zoom at 2 1/2x to 3 x which show the craters ( when the sun is shining across the moons face ) which are very detailed at normal print size. they would not blow up much beyond whatever size they are on a 24" monitor, which is still detailed, but are you ... full review

"Fantastic!" - by Ed Smerdon
This is an extraordinary camera. I am a relative novice when it comes to serious photography but have quickly got to the point where I can safely say I have taken the best pictures of my life with this camera and the Carl Zeiss 55/1.8 lens. Don't be put off by reviews that say it is too complicated or the lens choices are too limited, in this price range this camera is a game changer.

"Best by a mile, I love it, Nikon finally listening to it's customers" - by Mark Herridge
Love it, best DSLR I have ever owned and I have had a few like D500, D750, 80D, so light and quick, yes only one SD slot but cards nowadays are so reliable and it always sends a 2MB picture to my mobile every time I use the camera so if the worst ever happened I would at least have a copy.
Only had it a month and already taken nearly 2000 pictures just on family days out, I love it and so would you.
The best thing is the touchscreen, just wish it spun out like my previous D5500

"Fantastic upgrade from a Mark II" - by DadGeek101 (Yorkshire, UK)
Very pleased with this having upgraded from a 5D Mark II. I was originally keen to upgrade to the Mark III when it came out but was put off by the initial negative reviews and the increased launch cost, only to see its reputation grow considerably in the time it was available making me regret my decision. The Mark IV again is not seen as revolutionary enough in some quarters – exactly as the Mark III was initially – but it substantially different to the Mark II and I decided it was time to ignore the nay-sayers and give it a go.

And my first impression? I have been really stunned by the performance and changes since the Mark II and a weekend with it has shown me what a considerable upgrade it is – albeit quite complex in comparison.

I probably shot around 70,000 frames on the Mark II covering wildlife, ... full review

"Product Excellent, shame about the delivery!" - by Spinning Jenny (Godalming Surrey U.K.)
This camera seems very easy to use, I particulaly like the tilting viewer as it makes composition of unusual subjects easy to set up, I still need to do a lot of learning but it seems to be the sort of camera which will encourage novice photographers to become better. Amazon logistics could have been better! They lost the first camera and delivered the second to my neighbour despite the fact we were in!! Perhaps learning to read house names should be a job requirement?

"Excellent DSLR camera for those new to digital photography..." - by PG
Canon EOS 2000D Body Only

Along with the Canon EOS 4000D, they term this a good ‘entry level’ camera for budding photographers who want to enter the DSLR age.

My previous (non-digital) SLR was also a Canon, an EOS rebel, which served me very well, but I stopped using it because the rigmarole of buying film rolls and then having to sending them off to be developed without knowing if I’d even taken any good photos was becoming a chore, and expensive.

I invested in a Canon digital PowerShot A560 as backup and, although simple, it proved to be a very neat little gizmo. So I’m happy with the Canon brand, and no, they ain’t paying me to write that!

I opted for the 2000D over the 4000D because it has 24.1 megapixels as opposed to 18, and a larger LCD screen (3.0 as opposed to 2.7). Also, the lens mounting ring is metal, ... full review

"... bit of a gamble because I have always had amazing results from Canon products" - by Vinnie
I honestly thought switching from Canon to Panasonic was a bit of a gamble because I have always had amazing results from Canon products. This camera is really easy to use straight out the box without reading any manuals and offers an amazing amount of settings and options not to mention the fact that the picture quality is unreal! I love this camera, it shoots 4K, it's amazing!

"Fantastic camera for the price, very capable." - by Alex
Purchased as a necessary upgrade after some shutter issues with my old Mk1 Canon 5D, this has proven to be a *very* worthwhile upgrade. I was originally torn between the 6D and the 5DMk3 but as a pro-amateur (non-professional) I couldn't justify the 5DMk3 price point.

The 6D boasts great low light performance for gigs / festivals, fast start-up speeds and has an intuitive control design that - once you're used to it - allows for menu and setting navigation with ease.

My only real complaints are fewer auto-focus points than I'd have liked and a cheaper construction than the 5DMk3 - but considering the price these are minor gripes.

I'd happily recommend this as a step up from the older 5D or from any of the crop sensor lineup (400D/450D etc.) - it's a great full frame camera for the price. Just remember that your EF-S lenses won't be compatible!
