"June 2017 - Just a great, great card for 1440p gaming" - by Amazon Customer
June 2017 - Just a great, great card for 1440p gaming. Worth that money. Very fast, way above my monitor refresh rate (75Hz) on every latest game at max settings. Fans wouldn't even bother to turn on if used for web browsing or YouTube.

"8GB of Dedicated Gaming Power." - by Thomas
Although it is cheaper in the US, NOBODY can deny the outstanding price/performance of this card at the moment. Running Battlefield 4 at 4K at Very High settings at 60 frames per second is something that every PC enthusiast should enjoy - The LEDs included, as well as the backplate (thank god for EVGA for making backplates a standard for their GPUs) are a marvel to look at, though keep note that these are defaulted as White LEDs and cannot be changed like on the 1080 model. Considering that the card looks amazing anyway and the LEDs are a commodity to what is an otherwise outstanding card, it would be ridiculous to criticize the aesthetics beyond the fact that the card is great to look at.

Performance benchmarks can be found online anywhere but just as a synopsis for any newcomers: 1440p gaming at Ultra 60FPS for all AAA titles, 4K ... full review

"I'm so glad that I took advantage of the price drop at ..." - by Roy M
I've just doubled the performance of my graphics compared to my previous GTX970 amp extreme core edition card. I'm so glad that I took advantage of the price drop at the launch of the now top-of-the-range GTX1080Ti. I was previously looking at GTX1070 cards, but I knew that I would not be happy with a 1070 driving my ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q 2560 X1440 IPS G-SYNC monitor so this was the ideal time to do it justice.
GTAV with everything maxed out 100 fps+
XCOM 2 (no AA) ~100 fps
Fallout 4 Ultra Quality 85 fps
Shadow Of Mordor 110 fps
All at 2560 X 1440 resolution.

"1080p... No compromise" - by J4ck_Fl4sh_3k
No compromise 1080p graphics card...

Having upgraded to this from the excellent 750ti (which to me is a 720p mid to high) I have to say the I am impressed with the 1060 series, weather or not this really can handle VR well is another matter, if you are maybe you should just spend the extra £200 to make sure that you have enough power.

As for this it handles every I thrown at it such as.

Skyrim Ultra.
MSG5 Ultra.
Assassins Creed Unity Ultra. (One or two setting maybe knocked down, but very good nether the less)
Dead Rising 3 Max settings
Far Cry 4 Max
GTA5 Max

all at 1080p...

all in all this is a BARGAIN!

"A lot for your money" - by Gibbon (Brighton, UK)
Great value for money and an absolute beast of a card. As others have pointed out, great performance but also a great size. It is huge so make sure your case can accommodate it as it's 12.5" long, it's the porn star of graphics cards.
Performance wise it certainly performs, bought it primarily to play Elite Dangerous which i now run fully maxed out with 2.0 supersampling and i'm getting 130 fps. Star Wars Battlefront is around the 200 fps mark with everything on. I love this card, not cheap, but then you get a lot for your money, plus the build quality is superb

"A fantastic GPU" - by SC
Superb card. Brought my ageing system back to life and meant I didn't need any other upgrade to
get fabulous frame rates on the latest games! It's also got unbelievably quiet fans, so no roaring fan
noise like I had with my old GPU. The build quality is also fabulous..this is one seriously well put together
solid piece of kit. Money well spent!

"1070 is a great overclock and bet this one is same." - by Mr Hollywood (england)
now this isn't a review of the card as such, but more my experience of the msi 1070 gaming x. the card runs super quiet even at 80% fan speed, usually there is zero fan noise, if you leave it at the manufacturer settings. but lets be real, if you are getting this card, you are looking for something which is great at overclocking, well my card, i have been running for over 2 years, in afterburner, my settings are core clock +200 memory clock +500 power limit 90%. when cryptomining my memory clock is set to +700 and core clock -200 and power limit to 57%. I was going to upgrade to 2 1070ti's in each machine, but then saw the 1080ti on a great deal which cost me around £50 - £60 per card more than this card at current price of £575 thanks to the whale crypto ... full review

"Small but packs a good punch" - by IJ
Great card if you're tight for space, temperature when browsing is around 30c and when gaming 37-40c.
Not noticed any coil whine so far and fan noise doesn't bother me, if you override the auto fan setting and crank them up then sure it's noisy but so are any fans when you do this.
My case has good ventilation and has two 120mm fans blowing air directly onto the gpu which helps lower temps. Corsair carbide 240 which I might add this only just fits as the power lead is touching the wi Dow of case.
Benchmarking via user bench this card scores well.
Gaming wise on Sniper Elite 4 everything is turned to max which this card breezes through no trouble.
I would definitely recommend this card as it's not far off 1080 performance.
