If Batman had an umbrella, this would be it!

It is odd shaped for the more conservative, but it is like that for a reason, has I had the chance to find out in the recent gale force winds that swept trough Wales.

It does work, the aerodynamic shape helps you "cut" trough the wind and still protect you from the rain. It bends and flexes but does not break. And if you get "caught out" with wind from behind it's genius design doesn't let it bend backwards like all other umbrellas do.

Build quality is there, no slacks or noises, the umbrella feels very sturdy, so much in fact, I believe it could be used for self defence.

In conclusion, it is a high quality product, well designed and built, if you need an umbrella frequently this is the choice.

A little on the pricey side for an umbrella but it pretty much sums up the phrase you get what you pay for. Opening the umbrella is simple and quick and the components feel top notch.
Originally I was dubious about the claims that the umbrella could handle winds up to 70mph, but it has no trouble handling the storm force winds we get here in Wales especially recently.
So if you need an umbrella and live in stormy parts of the world I highly recommend this umbrella, you won't regret it and it'll last for a lifetime.

Really good build quality, feels more like a high-spec tent than an umbrella.
I subjected it to some extremely high winds (for England) last week and there was more chance of it being ripped out of my hands than it folding up (which is why they provide an elastic hand-strap I suppose!).

If you're trying to get two people under it it's not really big enough, this may be the XL version, but unless you've actually got your arm around the other person's shoulders then it's not gonna cut it.

Want an umbrella that really stands up to extreme winds? This is it. But... it's wind-proof design isn't perfect, here's the down sides and you can decide if it's worth the compromise:

1) Not for couples, or those with a great affinity for pies. Even though this is the XL version it's comfortably big enough for one person, no more.
2) Unlike every other umbrella in the world, the uneven design means it needs two little tabs with velcro in order to tie it up.
3) Strange shaft design, you pull the handle towards the end of the shaft to get it to open. This means when it's closed there's no comfortable place to hold the umbrella.

But... it's super strong, it's kept me dry in very high winds. So despite the compromises, it's worth it.

Love it love it love it

This umbrella is awesome, I work close to a coast and the winds often pick up a lot around there. I have before gone through two normal umbrellas on the way to work due to the wind but this umbrella has held up perfectly. I would definitely recommend buying one. The only thing I would say is buy one size bigger than you think you need. You could get two people under an XL size but anything smaller and you would seriously struggle.

We have had a horrible day here today. I took my Senz umbrella with me and it handled the wind no problem. The woman where I went was amazed my umbrella had not blown inside out so had to explain the reason to her.

I have subject this brolly to some of the worst weather Britain has thrown at us in recent times, and it has survived utterly unscathed, as have I. In winds approaching or exceeding the limit of the brolly's design it has never once threatened to buckle, and although it's easily the most expensive brolly I've ever purchased, based on what it's endured thus far without incident it may very well be the last brolly I need to purchase! Highly recommended.
