I couldn't get the BT Headset to play music through it. Interface doesn't seem to posh. It is definitely some normal chinese based software, which you can find in other phone watch in the market. I guess the higher range sWaP watches have a slightly different software which did seem to have a nicer interface. For texting and typing you have to use the stylus not the best ways of working a phone but its do able. Call quality did seems alright but the signal reception was just okay.
Now the major issue I had was that I attached the USB to the WATCH and my LAPTOP to charge the watch. After a couple of hours when I came back to check the watch the interface was gone and the watch wouldn't turn on. I also tried to use the usb charger but still no use. The watch is DEAD. I'm returning the watch back to the seller and asking for a refund.
I would say it was a good attempt at the concept but still needs a lot refinement. If you actually want to get a phone watch that is decent enough go for either the LG watch phone (which is expensive) or go for SIGNATURE/REBEL sWaP watches.
After inserting a Tesco Mobile sim card (yeah i know, but i saw it as i was shopping :P), i tried the phone out. It's got simple features of that of a mobile around its time, and was adequate to be used as a "watch phone". However, the call quality is terrible. Without using the bluetooth headset, the call volume was so low (even when set at max in options), that i was forced to use the speaker phone, which when activated and turned up, was heavily distorted and crackly. I also tried the bluetooth headset during the same call, which was again crackly and the receiving caller was unable to hear me properly at all, even though i was in a completely quiet room at the time.
Overall, nice as a novelty, even for wrist texting, but wouldnt recommend to anyone who wants to actually use it as a voice phone.
BUT LOVE IT
Phone quality is fine
Supplied wired headset is good quality
Has two styluses (one in the wrist strap)
It's not a Smartphone!
Adequate battery life.
Hands-free works well – the little speaker is surprisingly loud.
Bluetooth headset is poor quality - have just ordered a Plantronics M25 to use with instead.
The buttons are on the left and when worn on the left wrist and riding my bicycle can get accidental power offs.
The wrist strap needed adjustment. You don’t need to go to a jeweller. Just get a micro-screwdriver set from the pound shop and do it yourself. Spare pins and segments are included.
The battery lock switch can unlock against your wrist. I solved this with a little clear tape across the switch (another review I noticed used some nail varnish)

so I am not happy at all.
I have had this for a year and a half. The watch works well if you take it off your wrist and use it like a normal phone putting it to your ear. Read morePublished on 7 Feb. 2013 by BLob3
