I wanted to like it, but it just wasn't for me.

I like Raizer, I really do, but this product just didn't cut it for me, I accept there may be a small chance that my technological understanding of audio may have hindered the effectiveness of the microphones true potential, but there are some flaws I just couldn't deal with.
The first and biggest issue is that every single one of my friends and random players in game complained the voice came through muffled. That seemed weird to me because my stream recordings and audacity seemed to present a pretty good sound. I never got to hear it from my friends perspective, but the complaints were consistent.
Secondly, I use a Rode PSA1 boom arm, this mic is WAY too light for this arm! I had to manufacture a brace myself to stop the mic from launcing through my ceiling like a firework. The mic is made of plastic, hardly weighs anything, so if you intend to use a boom arm make sure it's not heavily reliant on weight to keep it down.
I just can't recommend this as a standalone microphone to anyone. I wanted to like, I really did, but for gaming and streaming there are just too many good alternatives.
