Top critical review
Not worth the high price
31 December 2018
Bought these earphones with high hopes because of the positive reviews but I'm pretty disappointed.
One of the first thing you'll notice when you take them out the box is a note which says something about how these earphones will fit better than those from competitors due to the more elliptical shape of the earbuds, but this is completely false, at least in my case. The earbuds aren't bulky enough to get stuck in my ears (which is what in-ear earphones are supposed to do) and they easily fall out of position if I move my head. I tried all of the different sized earbuds but none of them solve the issue.
Secondly, the bass is too overwhelming. I know in this day and age strong bass is desirable due to the popularity of electronic music. I listen to all sorts of music from Rap to Drum&Bass/EDM, all the way to power metal and kpop. These headphones aren't so great when it comes to listening to something that's not so bass heavy, and it honestly sounds like you're underwater or something because the highs and mids get drowned out and aren't clear at all. My phone (galaxy S8) has an EQ mixer built in, so I had to turn the treble up quite significantly to balance it out, but it still doesn't sound good.
Despite buying these for £89 just a few days ago, I'm already looking for my next pair of earphones as I know that I won't be satisfied with these. Pretty disappointing that I threw away the box before I properly tried them out, as I am now unable to return them.
