I bought this projector from Richer Sounds but thought I'd drop a review here whilst I was looking for some other accessories and checked to see if the price of this had dropped.
I have had it a little over a week and all I can say is... WOW. I've had projectors for the past 15 years and this thing is incredible. I did buy a Sapphire screen as well which I have never bothered investing in until now and it makes a HUGE difference.
Games looks INCREDIBLE in 4k @ 60hz and movies equally look great, with HDR turned on as well, it really looks amazing.
These are not issues but things to be aware of:-
If you are planning on running a HDMI cable over 7.6 meters, you will have an issue. You can no longer hit 60hz over that speed unless you use fiber HDMI cables, which cost £200+ from 10 meters and up. There's two HDMI slots on the projector, slot 1 is only 30hz and slot 2 is 60hz.
I went through 3 cables before finding this one to work flawlessly : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0036C4F46/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There is NO keystone adjustment, only some vertical shift. It was quite a mission to get the screen and projector (wall mounted) to all line up. You will need to put the projector upside down too in the mount as if you are right on the ceiling, the projector has a tendency to want to project up on to the roof.
I have a Duronic wall mount which is perfect for the UDH60.
I recently bought a UHD60 projector in mid November 2017 and a Panasonic DMP-UB300EBK UHD Blu-ray player. I am not impressed with the picture quality when playing back 4K Ultra HD discs with HDR. The picture in some sky areas is showing a moire fringe/ blocky effect on moving sky pictures. The UHD60 projector is not cheap and I would have expected a much better picture. It didn’t even come with a manual in the box? Update Mar 2018 - After sending back the projector to Optoma to service they have finally admitted that it cannot produce good 4K pictures where there colour gradients like sky. I have now returned the projector to Amazon for a refund and bought the more expensive Sony 260ES which has an excellent picture but is twice the price. The Optoma is not native 4K, the Sony 260ES is native and it really shows up in the picture quality.
I donot use the projector. I purchased it for friend Freitas. I have good reports from him and I understand both from him and friends that it is a success. I understand he intends to use it for work connected with the functions with the head of the council here in Rio das Ostras Brazil
