Rubbish as it cooks way too hot and is not slow at all

Absolutely rubbish. Cooks way too hot and meat disintegrates. I've followed 2 of their own recipes to the letter. The first one I cooked on high - it was bubbling immediately. The coq au vin chicken pieces disintegrated to such an extent they were just bits of white string!!!
Just made the Country chicken casserole - again done it to the letter, cooked it on slow - it began boiling soon after putting everything in, and by the time we went to eat it some 8 hours later, there were lumps of broken soft chicken, not the breasts I'd put in.
I read another review to say steer clear of Russell Hobbs. How do I go about returning it now???!!!
