A litttle disapointing
27 March 2018
Funny, but predicable. Mel Gibson adds weight to cast, with his mean, cold, womanizer father character. Lithgows cringeworthy over the top character provides toe curling moments, although i do like like this actor.
Ferrell and Wahlberg bounce off each other well at times. Although Ferrells usual, halarious ad-lib comedy seems a little forced.
The film highlights an anti-social, rude, disrespectful teenage daughter, glued to her mobile device 24/7. Not in the slightest bit funny, more depressing as depicts millenial teenage normality.
Overall a mean spirited comedy about a dysfunctional family.
