Brilliant keyboard and mouse set.

Oh why do I get fidgety about keyboards once I've had then for a few months? I guess as they are the interface between my computer and I, so I tend to be more critical of my keyboard than anything else.Which results in me becoming quite a connoisseur of different types of keyboard, as well as having a growing pile of perfectly serviceable 6 month old boards down behind my filing cabinet.
I generally buy cordless keyboards. Don't ask me why as I sit near to my computer and really don't need a keyboard that will work 10 metres away (at which point I couldn't see the screen either!). Cordless keyboards also have a habit of missing keystrokes, or suddenly losing all contact with your computer - before you rush out and buy a new board maybe try removing and reinstalling your keyboard drivers as that will often fix the problem.
This is a pretty cheap keyboard and mouse package. It's good quality, even if I have never heard of the brand name. It works straight out of the box with a wireless USB dongle. But what I particularly like is:
(1) it's a full size board with a full size Enter key - not as depicted. It has tablet style keys, which I like..
(2) both the keyboard and the mouse each take just one AAA battery (why, oh why, can't others match this beautiful simplicity?),
(3) there are warning lights for Caps Lock, Num lock, and Battery low (often missing on wireless boards) and
(4) the mouse powers on simply by clicking it (the last one I had, had a special switch on its' belly - why?). The keyboard automatically powers itself off and on. The mouse also has a simple scroll resolution switch on its' back.
Love it! Until the next one that is........
