Good PC, fairly priced.

The PC works straight out of the box and the performance is good for the price - it's refurbished, so you get a lot of bang for your buck!
Two issues needed resolving. Firstly the product ID for the Windows 10 installation did not match the licence sticker on the side of the PC. This prevented me from initially activating Windows but was easy resolved by copying the ID off the Windows licence sticker and entering it into the PC [Update: I have subsequently noticed that the How To Get Started booklet tells you that you need to change the product key when activating Windows). Secondly; the PC came with a free security application installed. It frequently took over 20% of my CPU, made my web browsing frustratingly slow, often blocked perfectly safe links, and reported fixing things when no problem existed. I uninstalled it and replaced it with Norton. The improvement was immediate.
I'm familiar with PC's so these two issues were only irritating however for an inexperienced user (or someone who doesn't read the instructions!) they would have created frustrating problems that would have needed fixing before the PC could be used to its full potential.
