I'd read many great and mixed reviews on some very expensive models

I decided recently to do away with our older 50" plasma screen TV for various reasons.
I spent a couple of weeks researching the market and decided I should upgrade to a 4k TV. I saw there were hundreds and ranging from £300 - £3000. Ideally I wanted to spend 1K or less. I'd read many great and mixed reviews on some very expensive models. Having subscribed to Which? magazine I looked up their review of this TV and this swung it for me. For the money (£799) this one seemed to be the best 'value for money'. It ticks so many boxes more than comparable devices. The picture is incredible. I was pleased enough watching 720p content. 1080p completely blew me away and when I saw 4k video I pretty much fell out of my chair. It looks to me like it does a very good job of upscaling pretty much anything. This includes my PS4 (not PS4 pro) which looks way better than ever. The sound, as well, is superb. Way better than I had expected. My previous experiences of TV audio were that (unless you could spend an absolute fortune on a high-end TV) you couldn't have good sound without an external speaker system or at least a sound-bar. Not the case here. I was immediately surprised and put it through it's paces, changing the setting modes and the content at high volume. I was amazed. The sound fills the room - particularly with the virtual surround on. There is great range and depth to the sound.
Simply put this is the best TV I have ever owned by far and, I think, for the money is worth every penny and then some. If you are on the fence I could not recommend this highly enough!
