The camera is good and works driver-free on Windows 10. The video is a little laggy though and note that although the 180-degree version states in the initial description on Amazon that it comes with the aluminium case that you see in the photos for the other models, it does not.
Purchased for a homemade dash cam - decided to add a rear-facing camera to my system.
I had a different make of camera facing forward, and compared to that camera, which was considerably cheaper, the image is rubbish.
The picture always comes out considerably darker, when going into tunnels etc images goes very dark for some time, when emerging from them again, camera is washed out for a few seconds.
When this camera is looking towards the sun, the image is unusably dark, yet the other camera in the same circumstances is just fine!
I've had to dial in a lot of brightness and contrast compensation into the raspberry pi that runs this, which is increasing it's processor power, so I also had to reduce the frame rate which is disappointing.
Also unit is very heavy, Sticky foam did not hold it in place, I had to drill holes in my car to screw it in, would not buy again.
In attached picture, this camera is the bottom image labelled rear camera, and before you ask, I do NOT have tinted windows
