Dangerous - serious design fault.
on 18 September 2018
I have eight dogs, and have had dogs for 40 years. I know a good harness and this has a fatal flaw: the dog only has to back out and it will be free of the harness.
I put this on my Dalmatian, and fitted it very carefully, as tight as possible without being uncomfortable. Being a clever dog, she discovered within seconds that she could simply reverse out of the harness.
The design fault lies in the fact that no strap stops this happening, even if you made the chest strap uncomfortably tight.
Previous harnesses we have bought have a strap around the neck as well as the chest, which prevents this happening.
This design fault could mean your dog gets run over or causes an accident. Avoid it and choose one which has a neck strap as well as the breast and chest straps.
