Top critical review
If you want to spend your entire life returning it you might eventually get a good one but probably not.

Good luck getting a good one. I gave three a go before cutting my losses; the first had horrendous backlight bleed, the second was just knackered and couldn't display anything properly and the third had even worse backlight bleed than the first one. You try watching the first episode of Stranger Things on Netflix with the lights off and you can't help but be distracted by the massive elongated oval that the backlight bleed cuts into any dark scene. Any dark scene in a film or tv show or game; any cave, any dungeon, anything at night will just look bad. I already have a 27" 60hz 1440p IPS monitor that has no backlight bleed and it is great and I'm sure you can get lucky and get one of these Asus 144hz ones in good nick but it's a lot of money to roll the dice on some monitor lottery and then there's the time and effort you spend messing about returning stuff, being around for delivery, returning that one when it's inevitably rubbish too. Good luck. And if you contact amazon by email good luck getting someone with the reading comprehension to actually understand what you're saying.
